Possibly a handy tip for DLC Manager

kevb

Question

Hi all,

With the current lock-down, I've started to spend a lot more time on Rocksmith again. I've downloaded a ton of CDLC and generally having quite a bit of fun.

I downloaded the DLC manager and had a bit of a play about and discovered a couple of things that i'm not sure has been covered? Some of the songs don't seem to want to select when you want to change them from enabled/disabled, i've found that by opening the song location you can just edit the file name to add or remove the *_p.disabled.psarc.

The second thing is, if you have RS running, you don't need to close it all the way down if you've edited/added/removed DLC. If I quit the game it goes back to the 'Rocksmith' splash screen with 'enter to begin', I just press enter and select my profile and all the changes are made.

Sorry if it's old news to most people, but I hadn't come accross it before.

Take care everyone.

@@kevb For the splash screen thing, know that you can also just enter the shop to force the enumeration process again. But both method don't allow to remove songs or edit as those situation will make the game crash as soon as you go over a removed song or try to play an edited one.
