How to change lights in CDLC? ("Custom Venue Light Show")

I remember reading somewhere in the forum about being able to change the lights you see in the background. I'm referring to the color of the light in "concert venue" that usually changes colors during a song (Purple, Green, Blue, Etc.). Are there any resources on how to do this?

You can do it through the toolkit but that's just letting you edit the xml file as text with a list of what everything does at the side. This is probably more for editing existing ones than creating new ones. LionK

Can it be done through eof yet?, that would be more useful for creating your own from scratch and way easier.

If not create a track with notes where you want them to change to get the note timing values and then modify the xml by changing "ebeat time" to "showlight time" and adding the note values to trigger the correct effect.

@@hellrazor17 Lights is the least important aspect of it and don't really bring anything of value for actually learning the instrument so i'm not sure why you would consider it needed to be already close to ODLC-quality like.
