This one is retarded. The first version accepts all notes perfectly fine, whereas the second version randomly drops 7th fret A string hammer-ons. The bass tabs are identical. :huh:

Alright, here's day two of the experiment, slightly worse score. Got lost in a phrase and was definitely harder to refind my fingering on the fret hand.  Might also be partially due to the blocks instead of the fret dots, making it harder for me to find the twelfth fret as a reference point.

 

Instrument was the Sire Marcus Miller, with DR flatwounds.

 

Tomorrow the 5 String.

@@meelo  Now that I know the main riff, I think my issue was I missed a chord in the main riff and it made me fail out of the song pretty quick.  and yeah it takes me a while to learn anything... :)

Alright day 3. Ouch. Huge drop in score this time. Kept ending up on the B-String and had to spend quite a bit of time staring at my hands figuring out where the hell I was on the fretboard. 

 

 

This play through was on a Schecter Diamond Stilleto 5, using D'addario chrome flats. (I really don't like the feel of these particular chromes, they feel dry/chalky no matter what I do) Decent fret width, but tighter than what I'm used to.

 

Tomorrow my guess is it will be rougher, but then when we cycle back to the P-Bass I figure I should be really familiar with the track at least.

had a little time tonight...

 

Men, this is breaking my heart.... seeing you have those fine battles and even MM on that cool song.

I´m stuck in getting basically a new ground floor in my house including switching kitchen to the old living room, new damn cool living room, new floor, completely new heating system, and cause we will not have any motivation to kill another summer, most probably new terrace and a lot of modification in the garden too, cause the ol gas tank is leaving. Right in month 3 of 5 of that, shall end mid october, also the time our kitchenless state is ending hopefully....

So meanwhile usually one session every week with 60-90mins to get the scores down is all i got, and for that ... i am quite satisfied with my scores, it even feels i´m still progressing ...

Rock, and i will be there in the moshpit again soon!
