This is not a 5, I can't even see it being a IM song the way it's charted. The chart also appears inaccurate on the bass. I can hear slides between the A, B, and Ab in the recording and the Db should probably be played on the A string without the weird semitone slide and the fills and chorus should probably be transcribed to be played around the 4-5th fret position instead of being playing at the 9th and 2nd fret positions. If the charter fixed these issues it might be a 5 but as it is charted currently it requires far to much movement between positions to be a 5. I also suspect the artist is playing most of this with minimal hand position changes since he appears to also be the lead singer and swapping hand positions while singing is more difficult than just switching strings.  I'd love to play this week but this chart hurts my brain and the harder charts are all tuned too low for me.

Not a big fan of this week's songs. Tried all of them, straight in SA mode, never heard any of them before.

The best part of C# tuning is that it is only a half step away from C standard and lots of Alestorm songs :)  Played this twice and then gave into the heavy metal pirate within.

Watching that, I don't think the bass chart is that inaccurate. Sure it's missing some slides here and there, but the bassist does seem to move around a lot in there (3:13 - 3:15 specifically, to see the 9th to 2nd fret slide).

 

Lead guitar is definitely the guitarist who isn't singing and his hand movements do seem to correspond with the tabs.

Not sure I agree with the difficulties this week. Valerie for Lead, I swear I rated that song for Intermediate. But it's in beginner. Re:Re, I feel like it's an advance lead, but that's probably because I suck though, seems straight forward. But Re:Re for bass at Intermediate, it's got to be on the boundaries of Advance? Really cool song though, added it to a spotify playlist!

 

 

As for the rest of the selection, not even sure I can be bothered with all that down tuning, RS just fails to reg notes hit.

Didn't play the song but I saw a cover of a guy that played really well the song and it doesn't seem to be begginer at all and if played properly is like a intermediate+. Hendrixy style/blues players style, thumb over the neck and with percurssive playing. Listening to the song seems right.
