@@adyscoot i'm curious what makes you think Ubisoft used anything coming from CDLC. Yes sometimes the tabs are alike but that's to be expected if the tab are accurate but that's mostly it. There's so many other element that come into a DLC that most CDLC doesn't take care off that i don't see any reason to think oDLC are based of CDLC at any point.

@@adyscoot a lot of artist tend to play the same riff the same way, only solos tend to shift a bit here and there but a lot of artist are capable of reproducing the exact same thing and they also have their own gimmick when they play, so good tab will end up the same as what ubisoft create because that's how it makes the most sense for that artist.

But even then, find me any CDLC that looks as clean as oDLC on all aspect first then maybe you'll have some ground to talk about it but i haven't find any song that got the official treatment to be close to what the oDLC ended up looking like.

Most artists do not play the same song twice the same way so for Ubisoft to pick the exact studio version of a CDLC seems too much of a coincidence to me :-) call me a cynic

CDLC makers get the album version - since it's typically easiest to find tabs that align with the version "everyone has", oDLC almost always use the album version too - funnily enough, those are likely the same recording from the same studio session.
