1.4.3.0 caught in update loop

Recommended Posts

After autoupdating 1.4.3.0, every restart, whether launching from the installer completion page, or from the desktop shortcut, etc, the startup check will run the 1.4.3.0 installer yet again. Refusing would end up in CFSM quitting and the cycle begun again.

After going into the appSettings config file and setting the EnableAutoUpdate to false CFSM 1.4.3.0 will run.

Perhaps something thinks it's an old version?

I'll take a look.  Were you running as Admin and was your AV disabled when you tried to install 1.4.3?

EDIT:  Cannot duplicate issue on dev system.  Anyone else experiencing this issue.  Post a link to your CFSM debug.log file.

Are you tired of AV False Positives???  Now accepting donations on my website (Click Here)  Your donation will be used towards buying a code signing certificate.   CGT is now compatible and safe to use with Rocksmith® 2014 Remastered ...

It reliably entered back into the reinstall loop when I set the tag back to true.
