Rocksmith 2014 Championship Week 224

Hi, not much time to play this week.

Has the dilemma insomnium/graveyard been solved ?

 

I feel like being stucked forever in the intermediate lead,

and expected my 99% on insomnium to be the exit ticket.

 

But I should give a go for Graveyard because Graveyard is damn cool.

@@Kosa, great job!!  I am really struggling getting it to recognize that 6,9 fret section (on D string) with the open E.  I have tried playing it all with my fingers, hybrid picking (playing the high E with my finger), different guitars, different picks, over-picking certain notes (mostly that 8th fret g string). However always seem to end up with a few misses in that section.  I must be doing something wrong.

That's exactly what I thought. But I haven't had the time and abillity to sucessfully grind to 99%, so it should not have been.

At least I have some master-mode action to show, wih exactly the same accuracy as my highest hard-mode playthrough.

 

 

And rhythm, a small improvement. I still think rhythm is harder than the lead part.

How the hell did you get rocksmith to recognize 100% of the notes, nice job man :lol:   Did you have any detection issues with this custom?? I barely got through with only one miss (which was BS on rocksmith's part btw  :angry: ). Every time a note was late to register, my heart skipped a beat. @@Kosa

@2groggy Are you building a Baritone/bass six string?

Specifically a "Bass VI".  The new necks are designed to drop in a standard neck pocket without needing to move the bridge or pick-ups.  You just need to cut a new nut for thicker strings and voila, exactly one octave below standard tuning.
