Rocksmith Championship Week 24

Recommended Posts

Is this really a beginner song or do I have no hope with guitar?  Nobody else has posted a score!  Maybe I should have stuck to power chords :)

Okay here we go, first upload, I will work on it some more, I'm working on two other songs right now also. I need to get a better streak in this song and practice a couple of spots.

It's good to know that everyone I idolize at one time or another in their career was where I am right now.

@@Szur sorry to hear about your finger that really sucks. Good luck though I'm going to shoot for 100% on this one just haven't taken much time with it yet. If it's any consolation I'm doing my first work for the season outside and I'm sore and my left arm keeps going numb. Nothing like a cut finger though.

4 playthroughs and a few curses and 77% (Lead)..

Can't remember by streak (wasn't saving it as I'm not anywhere near finished with this)..

I'm not sure it's in the same difficulty league as Halestorm's beginner song from last week - ie, this is possibly Intermediate - but I'm not done yet, not by a long shot... It looks like I might have some fun with this.  :)

edit.. few more and I'm up to 80.2 Lead - with a screenshot this time..

Need to spend some time in RR.. Getting there.  :)

I suck at rhythm. Even I hit most of the notes, I'm not consistent with the rhythm. One second I'm faster, the other one I'm failing behind etc... Would be great if you could actually turn on a metronome ingame :o Anyways, here's my little score :(

Not a bad score IMO. The Rhythm will come with time and patience you just need to learn to listen to the rhythm and get a feel for it. If you really need a metronome you can easily find one for android or iphone if you have one of those.

A little improvement on the MC song props to those have get higher than 70% accuracy as this song is not easy. Those bends are killer. Going to try this on my 24Fret guitar and see if I can muster out a few % points.

My score after 3 attempts. Might try to do some RR to improve, but my guitar does not register any bend at all on the high E strong over the 19th fret for some reason, have this problem on all songs. I guess the frets are not placed very well on this cheap excuse for a guitar. (and yes I tried my best to correct intonation, but it was not easy!)

@Krazyone: Here it is

I've changed the volumes of the 2 lead tones, if you find they are too loud or too low, just use the toolkit, click on the bottom where it says "Import Package", all the information will be filled in the toolkit, just click the tone(s) you want higher or lower, change the volume, click "Generate" and you have a new .psarc with the tone(s) louder or lower. You can also do this for the song volume, remove DD, change the name of the song (like I did and added NDD in the end of the song name), AppID, etc.

For the posterity of doing the exact same percentage with just a couple of notes more for the streak :

And a better upgrade for the rythm :

And a perfect for the bass :

That was a great day!
