Real tone cable burned? (It does not work anymore)

Nithrash

Question

Hi everyone, unfortunately my real tone cable seems to have burned, just plugged it into the usb port, the pc is turned off, now the cable is no longer recognized when the connection does not sound anymore.

Fortunately I still have an old non-original cable I used at the beginning, but my question is, is there still a patch to use the non-original cable with Rocksmith Remastered?

I hope so :(

@@SkullRock contact ubi if it's warranty case (and I hope so cuz no flash drive will burn out if you keep it plugged in for a night or so same for controllers or usb keyboard maybe it's early designs of RT cables you've got there?)

also there's nocable patch (search for github one) but you need to make sure your interface is able to go -115 dBu range otherwise it would be crap as for tones and detection :)

Hi Alex thanks for the answer, the real tone cable I bought four years ago on Amazon, anyway thankfully thanks to the nocable fix on GitHub seems to work very well, and the sound is almost the same as the original cable,This time I went well :)

Thanks again for the help  :)

@@SkullRock, Idk if you wold mind trow it away ship it to me, I wanna dig in it's dead body myself, I can pay for shipping it wou;ld be europe-europe and would take not that much time I guess :)

btw cable itself is fine so if you know how to solder jack on the other side It will be decent quality cable for inter-block connections for your pedalboard or so if you the one who bother to do so :P

Was glad to help ;)
