Menu Freezing

Leighton

Question

So in "learn a song" the game will freeze if i go into a song but press back and after a song finishes it often freezes going back to the menu. I have removed all cdlc files and tested the game but i still get the menu freeze, i have always had the same D3DX9_42.dll? My guess would be it's a bad cdlc save? like if i add back my cdlc they still have there % saved? Is there anything you guys know that can help me? on a side note i went to steam rocksmith verify the integrity of files and it changed nothing.

Ive had this happen to me before.... and I was doing exactly what you were doing... moving too fast for the program and trying to move along before rocksmith is done loading what I asked it to do first... i just chalked it up to glitching the program by hitting too many buttons too fast. In our world of great computers, this doesnt happen too much anymore, but used to happen all the time back in the day. I think all of the custom programming we do to make CDLC work makes it possible to glitch it this way....
