My CDLC ! 

 

I usually release about 2 CDLC a month, because I like to take my time and make them as good as I can for the benefit of everyone interested in them ;)

Ugh... If you like mindlessly mashing open D notes (and 3rd fret D notes too) and doing power chords for 5 minutes, oh boy, is this the song for you... Also, that "solo" is the ugliest sounding solo I

Beg, int and adv songs are really not that far apart in difficulty this week.  I need to spend some time on them all.

 

Metallica is to fast for me as usual.

Would you believe 100% on bass on my first try at Gimme Shelter? Well you shouldn't because I've played it about 150 times over the last few years  :D really fun bass line.

It's been a while since I taunted the FreeBird Police, but the fun bass lines this week have flushed me out of hiding.  In honour of Movember, https://ex.movember.com/ ,I challenge all wannabe FreeBirds to do both of the following during the month of November:

1) grow a 'stache

and 

2) post a score on a song made famous by a mustachioed rocker

 

Channel you inner Lemmy/Freddy Mercury/Tony Iommi/Hendrix/Prince/Beatle(Sgt. Pepper era) or just about any southern rocker from the '70s.
