If this thread was already done OOPS.

Just for fun, I am curious to Know what was the first record (cd, mp3) you bought. As well, what was the first concert you went to?

The first record I bought was Adam and the Ants: Kings of the wild frontier.

The first concert I went to was.. The English Beat. Bow Wow Wow opened for them.

First album I do believe was Toxicity by System Of A Down, and my first show was Three Days Grace... I know, I know, but I met Unleashed there. So there's that :)

Mothman is real and he sold me coke in a dimly lit JC Penney's.

First record would have been some cheesy pop song, maybe Lolly - Girls Just Wanna Fun. Or could have been Babylon Zoo - Spaceman actually now I think about it.

First gig was Busted, just over 10 years ago now.

I bought two albums at the same time. Warrant Cherry Pie and Skid Row (Self titled) .. That was a long time ago when I had to choose between tape or CD. Yes, I bought the CD's.

First show, I saw Korn open for 311 in '94

Shout At the Devil---Motley Crue was the first cassette tape I ever bought.

First concert was them opening up for Kiss if I remember right.  I cold be wrong on that though because most of the early 80's are a blur for reasons I probably shouldn't discuss in case my kids read this someday.

It's good to know that everyone I idolize at one time or another in their career was where I am right now.

First Album:  Kiss - Double Platinum (I was like 7 I think - but even then, was into Gene Simmons and the bass)

First Concert:  Not including the various local "can't remember" bands, the first big stadium one was Jethro Tull on Halloween night, but more importantly, the second one was Megadeth, of course!
