Hi,

I'm trying to installed the CF song manager and when I try to I get a notification

"Download failed: File not Found (404)
Check your connection and click `Retry` to try downloading the files again, or click `Cancel` to terminate setup."

No matter how any retries, It won't budge past about 25 - 30% installed.

Any suggestions as it doesn't actually tell me what it's 404'd.

TIA

Which version of CFSM are you running (beta, release or mac beta version)?  The automatic update links recently changed and will not work in old beta versions.  In the  'Settings' tab you should disable (uncheck) 'Enable Auto Update'.

A new beta release will be issued soon with the new auto update links.

I have the same problem.

I try to install the latest stable version 1.4.0.1 but when I run it, it says file not found (404)

and, I dont know if it is normal but the file where the error occurs is CFSMSetup_1.4.1.1.rar

This is the beta file not the stable version.

Download the latest CFSM beta through this permalink.

After you download the CFSMSetupBeta.rar file, take your computer offline.

Unpack the rar and run CFSMSetup.exe to install the beta.

I'm also experiencing this issue while trying to use the Latest Release 1.4.0.1. When running the setup file, I get the following error:

3wM0fSP.png

Steps To Reproduce:

1) At the top of this page, click on Tools -> CF Song Manager, which takes you to ignition.customsforge.com/cfsm.

2) Once at that page, scroll down and click on the "I agree to use the CustomsForge Song Manager at my own risk" check box, and click to download Latest Release (1.4.0.1) Windows.

3) Extract the downloaded file (CFSMSetup.rar) and run the setup file (CFSMSetup.exe).

4) Select Next on the first step of the install screen and the error will be shown.

I noticed that @@cozy1 stated above to download the latest CFSM beta, so does that mean the release that is labeled as being the most recent stable version is now broken?

@boysetsfire  There is a bug in the release version of CFSM installer.  You should be using the beta version of CFSM.  Following the directions here and you will be a happy camper.
