Suddenly started dropping FPS

I have been playing rocksmith for years, but yesterday it randomly started dropping fps making it nearly unplayable. No other games are being affected by these drops. I have no idea what is going on.

 

PC or Laptop ? What graphics card / chip are you using ?

 

PC, nvidia 750 ti

Just a guess but maybe RS switched to using onboard graphics. Go into Nvidia control panel and force RS to use it

I dont have an integrated card, only the 750 ti. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and I deleted all my cdlc but im still dropping fps.

Update: If I run it in windowed mode instead of exclusive full screen i dont drop fps.
