A question you've heard before

microjohnson

Question

So, I'm not a gamer at all, but I was about Rocksmith, so I bought a used Xbox One and the game. I have today off from work, so I was going to spend the day downloading some G n R from the CDLC, but from what I gathered on some very dated online posts, the XBox One is the only platform that will not allow you to download free content from customsforge. Is this correct? Am I just screwed?

As the title of this topic implies, I'm sure you guys have seen this question too many times, but I searched the forums for "Xbox One," and couldn't find any threads.

@@microjohnson Xbox one or PS4 don't have acces to CDLC because those console would first need to be hacked and i don't think there's any reliable hack out there. Even if there is people would still need to reverse engineering the files for Rocksmith to allow CDLC to be converted to the correct format and no-one has done anything in that direction yet.
