Proper way to play this without hitting center string?

Hey Guys!  Let me know if this is the wrong place to post (still new to these forums), but was curious how you would play this without hitting the string in-between the notes?  Do you mute the center string with another finger, or forego the pick and try to strum with two fingers?

Thanks!

You cannot not hit it so you have to mute it. Check the lessons in the game : https://www.reddit.com/r/rocksmith/comments/5pinx1/strumming_question_for_rem_losing_my_religion/dcrfjbr/

depends on the song/ tech.... if just strumming you have to mute the string...

but you also can fingerpick or combined plec and finger.... then of course you can don't hit!

Backup CDLC link ^^ - should list even the ones that got removed for inactive links...
just restored my ability to login again, so will try to slowly resubmit the missing ones...
and hoping to make a small come-back with some new CDLC ideas...

@@lordraptor1 tremolo picking doesn't require a tremolo bar that is wrongly named because it doesn't allow for fast picking but for pitch shifting (whammy effect).

@@lordraptor1 As i said, the tremolo bar is not made for tremolo picking, the name is idiotic :

often referred to as a whammy bar, vibrato bar, or incorrectly as tremolo bar

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vibrato_systems_for_guitar

In OP case, tremolo picking is exactly what is done, you just have to make sure to mute the others strings :

But i would love to see a video of someone doing tremolo with a "tremolo" bar, that must be amazing to see...
