how to use the new rocksmith toolkit?

lorflander

Question

Hi I cannot seem to get cdlc to work anymore. Now i have the dll file in my rs folder and I also have the rocksmith2014 patcher in the folder as well. My cdlc is in my dlc folder. When I go to the rocksmith toolkit, it looks completely different then it used to. I dont understand how to use the rocksmith toolkit with its new format and I cannot find any videos or guides on how to convert the cdlc to be recognized. Could you explain how to use the latest version of the rocksmith toolkit? Do I still need the rocksmith 2014 patcher in my rs folder anymore?

I don't understand what you want to to - playing customs in Rocksmith or converting a custom to another platform?

In the help section are tutorials for each platform how to play customs in RS. To convert a custom in the Toolkit go to the "convert" tab, select source and target platform, in the open dialog select the custom you want to convert and conversion starts. You'll see a progress bar and when it's finished you'll get a message box that everything is converted or if there were errors.
