Really not liking the new update, automatically connecting my web camera :/

 

Thought there would be an option to disable webcam in game rather than having to disable it for everything but alas, nope.

No, ... yd i played it for the very last time cause after quite a long time of trying i must say i think there is no use in going on. I think bassist ARE all just guitarist wannabes most of ´em obviously with lack of talent. Thats it, thats all....and to be able to spit on their heads right i should not only stop playing but give away that piece of junk...

I really hope you read the above slowly enough that it gave you at least one hard breath cause in fact of course i love playing bass and all of you all bass, no treble gals and guys!!!! The truth is less fronting and less spectacular - a friend of mine, she is the girlfriend of one of my best friends started playing RS a few months ago, her enthusiasm pushed him into playing as well and he is absolutely hooked on bass, so she came to me cause she wanted to xmas gift him one and after checking the local market finally i agreed to give her mine cause we know he likes that one..... so pooor me has to get a new one :) (which should fingers crossed be on the way) i´ll let you know.

@@missis sumner ah !!! "what make" - it´s a cheap Harley Benton Progressive B-450 (138€). You deffo cannot get more bass for that money. I gave it away for 95€ in mint and gunshotcustom condition. I hope that is fair.

@@Fraggle Baggle. Having been on the receiving end of some virtual remote harassment, that tinfoil hat is totally justified :) my camera faces the wall when I don't use it. There is only so much nose picking a person can watch though surely?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there's some niche sites for nose picking voyeurs!  :lol:  Seriously though, no matter how mundane, it's still creepy af to think strangers could be watching!

 

I actually use the black tape because I remember reading somewhere (around the time Mark Zuckerberg's Mac was pictured with tape on the cam) that hackers can figure out what you're typing on a laptop (including passwords) by hand movements and shadows.  True or not, I figured it doesn't hurt to use it just in case.

 

I've not noticed my webcam come on with the new RS update though, I wonder if that's just an external webcam thing.  :huh:

Aye it was weird and a long time ago but I found out who it was and sorted it out :)

 

I think mine was coming on because RS was picking up its microphone function so I switched it off in the recording devices menu and it's not been back on since. Still facing the wall though :D

I don't think i'm gonna try doing better at this song, for some reason my shoulder starts hurting kinda badly when plating it. I doubt it's the speed because i've tried to play faster songs without problems

I've been using Tortex Sharp (or sometimes Standard, whichever I had) .73mm picks.

 

I just bought a few new picks (Tortex Wedge, Tortex Standard Pitch Black, Ultex Sharp, all .73, three picks each), but I also got just a single 2mm Ultex Sharp pick, because the thickes pick I ever used was a 1.14mm Tortex Standard, and I was curious about a 2mm thick pick.

 

Today's the first time I used it. Here are my results:

thanks again to those choosing songs. another song that i would not hear if not for the charters.  this part of the country doesn't carry anything close to this on the radio.  now my fingers are ready to fall off, but i still like it
