Adv Bass: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=735287585 Have played this a few times before to warm up, I like the slopey strut to this track but I think perhaps a medium-high intermediate more than adv. I'd give it a generous 6. (PS. For a song almost 2000 years old it's stood the test of time ;) .... Alannah Myles est.198  :D )

IT'S ALIVE !! My 25 year old computer is alive.  Every single part, including the case has been replaced at least three times, but it's still my 25 year old computer.  Oh, wait... some of the dust might be original.

 

I've just gotten the system running, so I've only done sight reads on bass on Simple Minds and Soda Stereo.

 

The Simple Minds track is one of those where RS can't tell good from bad.  I scored 99.9 %, but I'm sure that it sounded like crap.  I just didn't have the triplet pattern down and RS can't seem to sense that.  I'll try it with a pick when I get a moment and see if I feel better about the result.

 

For Soda Stereo, I scored 95.6% and can certainly improve that with some work in RR.

This is my current score on Advanced class bass arrangement with the song Black Velvet by Alannah Myles. Great song, i love it.

Not perfect but bass has some delay for me and overall i suck at any song/instument that needs fingers and not picks :)

In case you didnt guess i would like to start at advanced unless you guys want to put me somewhere else. Im sorry if this caused any trouble but i was excited. This is my first time i ever compete with people on a musical level. :p

@ It looks like you and @@NoonyDeloony does not have the same version of the song.  She has 5 more notes in her version.

@@MaZtoR I have the latest version of the only black velvet cdlc on the site. But dont go too deep into it,i just suck at bass and probably most of my notes were recognized as late or early in score attack or something like that :p
