Had a few goes at Transylvania on bass. It took a little bit of work on some trouble spots, but I eventually managed this:

I think that was one missed note (which makes wonder how @@Limesak missed two with that streak).

 

Main spots that gave me trouble (with regards to Rocksmith note detection) were the fills in the first half with the slides (usually either the slide itself or the transition to the Eb string after the fill) or in the second half where there are the quick ascending minor pentatonic hammer-ons before the string of high Eb's (where I often miss the Db just before). 

 

Outside of Rocksmith, I find it somewhat difficult to play everything in time on this given the speed and feel of the song. On this last run I think I got the feel right for most of the fills in the second half, though there were definitely one or two I played much closer to a straight feel rather than a swing one. The fast stuff in the first half of the song I find very tough to really be on rhythm for, and often turns to me spamming 16th notes or an arrhythmic mess.

 

 

Edit: Also, since the arpeggios on bass have become a topic of conversation... I remember when I played The Trooper the first time totally freaking out when I got to the riff under the first solo and there were these panes appearing and I didn't know what was going on. Which makes me ask, you have played The Trooper @@missis sumner, right?

good game @@albatross213. About the streak, I messed up right at the end ! Pretty hard song indeed. Hard to really keep the rhythm with precision. But 100% is totally reachable, cmon you can do it !

This Adv is pretty tricky in places. I still think I can do better, but it's probably high time in the week that I start focusing on my class, so this might be the last time I drop in on Bob.

I have played with Bob (rhy) lots of times at now. And since my last (well, first actually) result with 99.15% I can't get even close to it.

I'm getting misses just in the middle of the riff. I'm not moving my hand. Don't change the pressure. Just punishing my strings.

And... i'm missing. May be I'll get 100 one day... accidentally.

I know @@covinhas87 is going to beat this on Saturday at 5.30pm but I don't care as I'll be on a plane to Gran Canaria.  :P

 

I can't get through the Dire Straits lead without the XXX so i gave up, not enough time.

 

If Vodka beats my Bob score......and he probably will, can i use this Master score as i get an extra point ?

The arpeggios are not that difficult - it's a bit like Hotel California, no?  It's just that I can't see the notes for the purple shading.  I might have to actually learn it, rather than try to sight read it. :(

If you use OBS or any video editing software I highly recommend you backup your old OS as it doesn't seem to be compatible whatsoever with Windows10 yet. A lot of people have had similar bugs of the toolbar disappearing and start menu not functioning (plus reappropriation of sound hardware slots amongst other things) There again you may be one of the lucky ones who get no problems :) I hope it goes smoothly with a capital "SMOO" for you LDuperman! :)
