Quick links: The Big List , The Request/WIP Form Introducing...  Request & Work In Progress List 2.0! by @claimore22 & @ForgeOn   Request a song, look up songs already being made, or let ev

There are a lot of completed requests, that still show as "request", there should be an option that if a certain number of people vote as completed, it shows completed, or atleast to edit the request

FAQs   Q: Why, after entering my request/WIP, does it show up for a second and then disappear? A: Our list has a script that automatically checks for duplicates and removes them but this only happens

I just added a request.

Does it take some time till it shows up in the "BIG LIST"?

Just refresh page and you'll got it

Already did... but no sign of my request :(

Even deleted my browser cache...

I think something went wrong with the request. I try to add it a second time.

[EDIT: NOW IT WORKS!]

What I'd like to see is a TABBERS Wanted area.

I've been wondering if there might be people out there who are good at tabbing by ear but who don't want to bother making the actual custom.

If these people were willing to prepare GPro files, other people can take care of preparing the CDLC charts.

Don't know if these people exist though.

is there a way to introduce voting in the spreadsheet? that way if i searched for a song that does already exist in the spreadsheet I can upvote it, people who are interested in making the dlcs can pick the highest votes if they want.

after quick search, we can create google form for each request (row in the spreadsheet) with radio button and submit button in the form, by checking the radio button and submit you are increasing the vote on this dlc. later we pull the result of the voting in a new column for each dlc

see here for technical details

http://sitesguide.pjrprojects.co.uk/google-sites/how-tos/create-a-poll-using-google-forms

also same idea goes to the customsforge cdlc search, can we add a column that let people upvote/downvote each cdlc based on accuracy?

@@xDatBoiSOBLE, "Drones in the Valley" REMOVED, and "Summer of 69'" Marked Completed!

@@amellice, A lot of people have made similar requests for a tally system for requests, at some point we will implement one but I'm not sure that your suggestion will work. If you would like to work on a solution I would be happy to take a look at your work! :)

As for a quality rating system for completed customs that is being discussed as well. Take a look at this thread (now closed) to get an idea of what is happening. Be sure to read the final post by Unleashed2k!

I wonder about this whole request thing..

I mean, with all the work it takes me to create a custom (I'm still learning, of course, other people may work more quickly), I don't see me making any customs I don't already want to make for myself.

I prefer to encourage people to work on their own -- it's not that difficult (it's actually really interesting), and the more the merrier.

@@MVega, No one is forcing anyone to make the requests. If you don't care to make songs for anyone but yourself, no one can force you to do otherwise. If on the other hand you enjoying doing things for others and you find yourself wondering what customs people might like to play then you can check the list. If you enjoy making customs and you would like some inspiration for what custom to make next, you can check the requests.

Encouraging people to learn to make customs is all well and good but not everyone has the time, patience, and computer and/or musical skills that it takes to make customs. The request list provides inspiration for charters and hope for everyone, unskilled beginners and tech savy guitarists alike, that they may get to play their favorite music created as a custom DLC.
