Had to try the babymetal song also.  Never tuned my guitar that low before and was expecting a crappy note recognition.  But it was not bad at all with my 10-46 strings.

This is pretty fun to play. Struck out on my first try, but got better:

Starting to practice with a full band for my first ever public performance (with a music scholl), so I'm not sure if I'll have time to do this again. Five songs on the menu... Good thing I'Ve got this Rocksmith thing for support!

It's one of those weeks where I have no clue what I'm playing until the notes come at me down the highway. Here goes:

Great song. Little repetitive as far as lead arrangements go, but enjoyable enough to listen to that I'm never bored.

Wicked song, riffs are a blast to play - very djenty and kind of sounds like something that might come out of Periphery.

 

But... is this really MC material? Nothing in this song strikes me as anything Advanced players couldn't handle.

I scored 96.5% after just playing it 3 times without knowing the song or practising any of the riffs... that's without being able to score on the harmonics in the intro, too. I'm with Brutus and Edude, this is on the easier side of Advanced.

 

We could recycle Akatsuki if MC song selection is dry - been a super long time since we played it and it's in C# as well.

I wouldnt call over or underrating a real mistake, its still quite subjective and also a question of the days performance.

 

For the tunings low tunings once in a while for the mc should be no problem, tuning a bass up to f .... oh boy :)

@@Rodman The strings like spaghetti (my 55-110, enough thick) for such tuning at least  yet need retune action, that very bad to do for the one song. Impossible to pass tuning in RS for low string.

My vote is for using Karate in the 10weeklb.  It gives us a lot more room for improvements.   Sabatons solo is just to hard, and the rest is easy.

But i do understand if people have problems with the tuning.  But remember, training a soft touch on the strings can be a good thing. :)

I usually hammer out a track or two on Saturday, but this one had been a busy weekend.  So here's my late start - Driver's Seat on bass after 1/2 hour in RR = 97%

 

Edit - and half an hour later... Birdhouse In Your Soul on bass = 99%
