Importing unfretted slides

Hi,

 

How can I import slides where I don't play a note at the end of the slide? I use tuxguitar which I export to gp5 and I get a warning saying that my slides will only be on one feet. It seems I can only do this by editing each slide manually after importing in eof.

 

Is this the case or is there a way to do this in gp5 so it's imported?

I don't think that there is a way to do it with TuxGuitar. With Guitar Pro you can use "Slide Out Downwards" and "Slide Out Upwards" that will import correctly as unpitched slides into EOF. Although, their length will be only one fret so you may have to edit them anyway if you want them to look longer.

What you want is a "legato" slide. You will have to define the end of the slide by placing another note after the sliding note. EOF will apply "linknext" status to the slide note so that the game displays these as one combined chord.
