Problems with Rocksmith 2014 and CDLC

For some reason my Rocksmith won't detect the cdlc's. I followed the instructions step by step several times. I tried with both versions of the dll and with the launcher and the cdlc's won't show.

 

I don't have cherub rock but i have fear of the dark from iron maiden that I bought on steam. The weird thing is that it used to work on my old PC, I bought a new one and for some reason it won't work.

 

Is there a problem with this on Windows 10? I didn't have an SSD before could this be an issue, I don't see why would it be but just to rule it out. (I tried installing it on a normal HD on another steam apps folder i have and no luck)

 

I even tried with the pirated version of the game since I read that for some people that was the only way it worked, but It didn't work for me either. 

 

I'm out of ideas and I would appreciate some thoughts on why could this be happening.

Have you you tried converting the ID's of the CDLCs to the Iron Maiden song that you've purchased? You can use the Toolkit to do this.

If they have not been converted to an official DLC that you own, then they will not show up in your song list.

Yes I always use the toolkit. It's weird because i followed the instructions step by step.

I think it has something to do with steam not "being aware" that you've purchased that Iron Maiden DLC. I've seen this pop up in other threads in this sub-forum, but I forget the answer. You may want to look back on some of the old threads that something like "CDLC won't work" in the title - there is a lot of them though!

Perhaps you can try downloading the Iron Maiden DLC again on your new PC?
