is there any way to change tuning of Psarc file?

K2adir

Question

I want to play some songs but they are build in B standard, which sounds really bad and my RS doesnt recognize many notes when I play them.

So, I was wondering if there is a way to change default tuning of a file?

I got RStool kit, tried to unpack it and find it's XML file under Songs -->  arr and changed
"string1" 2 3 etc to 0 instead of -5. Saved it, but know my file doesnt show up in the game.

If somebody can give me a detailed walkthrough that be great.

thanks

It's probably not that simple, I'm afraid.

Each note would need to be transcribed for an E standard tuning, and even if you could do that in a way that makes sense, there's likely going to be A LOT of notes that have a pitch lower than your low E string. Which means you wouldn't be able to play them.

If you play a lot of songs that are tuned to D standard or below, it might be worth buying a heavier set of strings and setting your guitar up properly for heavy string/down-tuned play.
