The link for the Grease song is for "We Go Together", not "You're the One That I want". Is that intentional?

Also, is RR buggy for anyone else on "Court of the Crimson King"? RR sections don't correspond to what's displayed, which isn't a big deal, but when I tried to switch to another section after practicing one briefly my game crashed.

Beginner  MC Lead, first thoughts
http://oi68.tinypic.com/1036clc.jpg

Reasons:

The RR Bar is off like albatross said, and I can see the possibility of crashes/save corruption

the one that really gets me is that THERE ARE MISSING TECHNIQUE MARKS
And i dont mean that they arent in the cdlc, but that they are present, but the track doesnt show them. I detected at least two slides i missed 100% of simply because i had no idea they were there. Another red flag is that the album art disappeared after i played the song.

My last gripe is that i dont really feel this is a 9...or an 8...more like a 4 tops on difficulty, and thats the rating im giving it btw, 4.

Sorry, but this MC song does not feel like a 9 in difficulty at all, more like 6 . If it wasn't for the missing slides I would probably get a 100%. In addition, the song is sooo long (and boring), with big chunks that does not involve a guitar or bass.  Is it possible to change song, organizers?

Metallica - The Thing That Should Not Be: Lead 7

My reasoning for below 7, this song has very similar tempo, riffs, but yet the solo is much harder than for In the Court of the Crimson King.

Ok, so here goes final difficulty scores for week 52 songs:

Skyclad - The One Piece Puzzle: Lead 6

I'll revert my diff rating to 6, I remember this one being very arpeggio heavy with a decently difficult solo, just like this weeks mc song

Many nice scores on all songs :)

@@then3verend of course, but you cannot compare these two songs, one is full of notes and the other is very spare guitar. Select all in RR and just count the notes :P

anyway, here are my first Ninos Con Bombas Scores, don't know which path is more fun

@ I submit Canon Rock, Muffin Man, and Empyreal as my evidence, all of which were at least half as long as ironclast, and yet, we did way way way worse. Length isnt an issue when learning a song, its the difficulty. I'm sure I can add more songs to the list if you like :)

Many nice scores on all songs :)

@@then3verend I didn't say that Court Of The CK is a hard one and I didn't played it yet.

But I meant the proportional note amount to the song lenght... this KC song has 655 notes over 9:30, that's less than 100 notes per minute, of course it is not that hard.

In The Court Of The Crimson King is the only album i head for King Crimson (I need to get the vinyl someday), and i really like it as a prog fan!

So i'm in D right now, i'm not going to change the tuning until an MC song is chosen! I will upload my score for Monstrance Clock, by far one of my favourite Ghost tunes

I agree that KC isn't super hard for MC participants to score well on. But I definitely think Court of the Crimson King is an MC level song to perform, in ways that Rocksmith doesn't really score. Getting the dynamics right and making the notes ring out properly in this song is  absolutely an MC task in my opinion. Even if an Adv player could probably spam notes and please the Rocksmith judge, I doubt they could it sounding good without a lot of work. I am positive this song is out of the realm of Intermediate players, there's no way it's a 6...

But I guess every MC difficulty song I like either has no bass or some RR issue?! How about Constant Motion by Dream Theatre instead?
