cannot launch rocksmithcustomsongtoolkit

Vancity4life

Question

the title of the post says it all, whenever i try to run the app it gives me that message, tells me i need to install mono framework 2.4 or later. I've downloaded mono framework 4.2 but it still won't work.... any suggestions as to how to fix this? I've ran the program before, about a year ago when i first got into this site, now for whatever reason it just keeps sticking me with this error message. I'm running a mac with the latest os x (el capitan)

It's a problem with all the new builds of the Toolkit.  Because Mono is installed in a different directory on El Capitan, the Toolkit can't find it.

I've posted a modified version of an older Toolkit that works in this thread (2nd post on the first page):

Make sure you have the El Capitan compatible version of Mono installed as well (also in that post).  You'll need to uninstall any previous versions you have first.

Worked like a charm, thank you very much for your help. Can't wait to rip into some music that we'll never see as official DLC!
