Took a few SA tries at MC bass to see how high I could get. Still some room for improvement (obviously, as someone's above me on the leaderboard), but I'm pretty happy with this.

Despite spending about an hour in RR on the temptations I found it harder than the Jackson 5, which I only played once and straight away in Score attack:

 

Adv Bass, The Temptations: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=580174073 indeed a true advanced song for the bass :) This one will be fun to improve, I'll be very pleased if I can 100% it... watch this space.

 

MC Bass, The Jackson 5: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=580174965 Really good fun, again I concur with the adv' category.

 

Int Bass, Slade:  http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=580175577 I found this surprisingly hard to play but it's REALLY good fun!

 

Beginner Bass, Wham: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=580176230 Fluffed it a wee bit, a nice steady rhythm with a little bit of string skippy stuff :) Nice to play if you're into that kind of music.

I guess I need fingers that move faster for Christmas.

 

After playing this for what seemed to be a million times, but Rocksmith says 36 times, I got a small improvement.  I'm not sure I can do any more, so I'll have a go at the intermediate and see if I can get a score that's at least not too embarrassing.

I did have a crack at intermediate, but its pretty clear that I'm not good enough for intermediate yet.  I still need my training wheels :).

 

There were several sections of the song I couldn't get anywhere close to.  I couldn't get more than a third of the way through on score attack, but eventually managed to get enough of the hard sections on "Learn a Song" to get a play though without DD kicking in.

 

Intermediate lead - 85%

Bass is fun, unfortunately the guitar parts bear no resemblance whatsoever to how the song is actually played. Good powerchord and strumming workout for a beginner though.
