Toolkit Always Updates Arragement Numbers

Recommended Posts

Hi,

well I took the plunge and have been using new toolkits for a week or so now.  Thanks for all the great work, it now imports tones from capitalized profiles like a boss :D

What I have noticed though, is that the arrangement numbers are always updated on every new build, no matter the option chosen.

For the sake of clarity, what I mean by "updates arrangement numbers" is that all scores in game reset.  Also, I've never had a hang so it's not really a complaint :D

Scenario 1

Make changes, toolkit warns you, pick "Yes" option, toolkit updates arrangement numbers

Scenario 2

Make changes, toolkit warns you, pick "No" option, toolkit updates arrangement numbers

Scenario 3

Make changes at EoF stage, toolkit gives no warning/option box, toolkit updates arrangement numbers

I am currently using 2.6.1.0-93a85713 but it was happening to the one just before that too (the one with the bass tuning messages).

I, personally, don't mind it always updating the arrangement numbers (the less hangs the better), but I thought I would point it out seeing as its actually an option.

Thanks :D

I'll look into it.

"Make changes, toolkit warns you, pick "No" option, toolkit updates arrangement numbers"  This should not make any changes to arrangement numbers.

There is a bug.  Persistent ID is not being written correctly to the arrangement json file.  I will fix.

When Generating new package toolkit will warn you about select new Arrangement IDs, select "No" if you don't want to reset your song stats.  Latest build is here.  Tested and working on my machine.
