@@supername My pickups too active, with power supply 18V, it nothing helped me.

i used a friend bass yesterday (with active pickups) and yes, didn't work. gonna try to pin it at -10 as @@queengeedorah wrote.

There was an extra sale on Rocksmith a few days back so it went down to 40% off. There probably will be an encore in a few days at the end of the sale, so I'd recommend waiting for that.

 

In other news, I should finally get around to submitting a score today. I tried the MC song once already, and I can say pretty confidently that I won't be winning this week. These types of basslines don't play to my strengths at all, though I guess that's cool as it means I have more to learn from this one than most 8 ratings.

I dont understand how I love to play and am seriously good at the jazz/bluesy basslines...yet dislike/suck at playing the leads...but it is real...

That chord part is tricky as it is with constant on-/offbeat changes but 

I cant get those stupid chord slides to register...

I really hate that part in a way that i definitely want to nail it.

This might be it for this one for me. Still not a fan of downtuning this far. My bass actually handles it well, I just do not love the loose strings and semi-random misses. A lot of the misses are from my sloppy mechanics I am sure.
