  • Rocksmith Championship Organizer

Hi everyone,

My musically spectrum includes a wide bunch of stylistics. Favoured styles are Funk, Blues, Ska, Reggae, of course Rock, kinds of Metal and fusions of all. Only thing is it have to be good :D. Also my favourite bands are a little bit special and kinda weird like Primus, Fishbone or King Crimson, and almost there are no tabs around, at least no useable, so I usually write them by myself almost by ear. But this process needs much time and is lot of work depending of the song's complexity, so do not wonder if it takes long time sometimes untill my next custom is released. But those who know any of my customs will know it is worth because they've got high accuracy tabs and in the end tey are high quality customs.

Finished old stuff :

Sniff 'n the Tears - Driver's Seat

Shocking Blue - Venus

King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man

Fishbone - Party At Ground Zero

Bad Brains - Stay Close To Me

Billy Cobham - Red Baron

Fishbone - Cholly

complete list of all my released customs

actually working on

Billy Cobham - Stratus - status: still writing the tab with long rests between work  planned: more Fishbone, King Crimson, Primus, Ninos Con Bombas, Paulo Mendonca, Supergroove, Mr Bungle...

Atreides Ghola, Completed Customs and Works in Progress

I'm not as prolific as everyone else here; don't have as much time, and probably work at a slower pace.  I had a set of customs I was working on, but considering that I've managed to finally get a good Jackson Browne sheet music book, I'm going to be working on the following:

Jackson Browne - Boulevard
Jackson Browne - Running on Empty
Jackson Browne - Somebody's Baby
Jackson Browne - The Pretender

Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic
Steely Dan - Don't Take Me Alive

Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell (Studio, official transcription.  Much different than the one already posted)
Black Sabbath - Lonely is the Word

John Mellencamp - Ain't Even Done with the Night
John Mellencamp - I Need a Lover

.38 Special - Caught Up in You
.38 Special - If I'd Been the One

Red is the one I'm currently working on, teal are the ones I have planned.  Any that are completed will be green, with a link to the record page.

I figured I'd post here. Though I've only done one classic rock CDLC to this point, I'm definitely planning on doing more (including one very soon).

Finished:

Deep Purple - Pictures of Home (this was my first CDLC, so it's probably far from perfect. If you have any suggestions to improve it, let me know!)

Works in Progress:

King Crimson - Discipline. This is synced and pretty much ready to go, but I'll probably post a preview of it tonight so we can get the tones right. Also, it's really hard to play!

Future Projects:

More King Crimson, particularly if there are other good tabs out there. I'm pretty sure @ can do a much better job than me on some of these if he so chooses.

Van Morrison. I am kind of astounded that Brown Eyed Girl is the only CDLC of his on here in spite of the fact that it has over 2k downloads. Anyway, I'd probably try to start with the obvious (Wild Night, Moondance), and then maybe move on to whatever else seems cool and doable.

Yes - Long Distance Runaround. Might try to get this one out quickly, as tones and tabs shouldn't be a big problem, and it shouldn't take too long to sync.

There's also probably more classic rock that I'd like to do, but I'm not entirely sure where the gaps in our coverage of classic rock are. I'd be happy to fill in anywhere there are big gaps and good tabs!

My current Classic rock WIPs are:

Pink Floyd - San Tropez (done, posted)

                    See Emily Play (half done)

Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun (more than half done)

Other than that, you know me, I will be skipping around the music spectrum like a chipmunk on crack, but I will try to keep everyone up to date on stuff.  When I Can remember to..and when I don't get distracted by shiny things. ;)

Edit - This weekend I was able to get into my old, nearly dead, laptop and retrieve all my old work.  About 20G worth of dats, nearly completed psarc, etc etc.  OMG I am like a nerd at the Doctor Who store over here!  SO I shall certainly be updating my to-do list quote soon.

The smug level around here is becoming almost unbearable!

And use the requests link for requests people; I'm not your Mummy, I don't take special orders.
