Classic week! Stones, Beatles, Aerosmith and some classic metal with Iron Maiden. How fun is that?

It's a little bit of leftovers week, with songs that were meant to be selected, but I had issues with their difficulty ratings.

Jumpin' Jack was initially Intermediate but I simply can't see where. 97% on 1st try is too high for Int song. Then She Loves You is chord-fest, something which gives me troubles, so it can be not so tough. (I think that this two songs can be swapped on rhythm class, dunno).

Aerosmith. I asked other Organizer and we agreed that it's MC. While we can understand that it can be not so hard for you, remeber that it's still "have fun" competition and we're willing to have some easier MC songs, rather then "I can't do it" Advanced ones.

And Maiden's. Well, I don't know if it's too hard for Advanced. I complitely forgot that it has solo, while I think it's not so tough (well, I was saying the same thing about Jump in the FIre and it being true Int :lol: ). That was really after everything was set and ready, I decided to check Maiden's on lead, to be sure, and boom! It was too late, and I was so happy with rhythm and bass, I decided to leave it here, and stand with "it's Advanced".

Aerosmith! Sweeeeeeeeeet :D this is going to hopefully be rock hard but playable to a not too shabby degree. This band always challenges my dexterity and creaky joints :) bring it on :D

Hell yeah - the beatles are gonna teach me some chords - thats great, and aerosmith on the bass - gonna be hard 4 sure.

 

And Maiden, man, and the stones.... Wow!!

Hey guys, love the songs this week :) 

 

just couldn't resist some Iron Madien even though I my mind was all other the place at the parts I missed and apart from the intro and outro I can say it wasn't "Masterfully done" ^^

Beginner Lead - 97%, 109 streak

Beginner Rhythm - 94%, 111 streak

Beginner Bass - 99.18%, 260 streak

Fun song, it's fast but not complicated.

 

Advanced Rhythm - 91%, 90 streak

Advanced Bass - 97%, 159 streak

1st play on bass was tough, 2nd one way better.

 

MasterClass - 89%, 208 streak

That's fast on both hands. Who would expect that from Harris? :D

 

 

Stones and Beatles bass can be swapped, they seemed similiar in difficulty.

hmmm  this iron maiden song, having not really been a maiden fan that much ( no offense to fans ) 

has some interesting note choices. Ones that if I wrote the song I would have wrote totally another way.  

 

But hey what do I know they got money and jets and 1,000 times better gear than me so props to them.

 

One play through  they got some crazy note patterns in the middle through to the end section wasn't expecting those when i first saw them.

 

Kinda like the last weeks song as a endurance race of a song.

 

anyways prolly the worse score to be posted and this song but here it is.

Might attempt to commit The Beatles to memory. Given I'm right on the doorstep of their birthplace I should know at least one track all the way through on bass, other than singing them all badly :)

@@NoonyDeloony Thanks for the warm welcome, and I just started champs last week so going to do same as everyone else and work my way up, so doesn't matter if it's invaild ^^

 

Was just to show that just because its not your class song doesn't mean you can't have fun "trying" to play it^^.

 

P.S I'll hopefully get time to try it again in S.A after I at least get my class done.
