Apparently there was a 94.93% dilemma. (Case 1, Case 2) Props to @@Azrael for his MM's on Life. 74 plays just on lead is insane. My guitar and game doesn't like the tuning, so I'm done with the song. I actually did really well on the riff for the rhythm path, but actually lost most of my accuracy on the power chords. My game wasn't enjoying them with my guitar.

 

Tool will be coming later, need a break, haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I always seem to miss one note or another, or at least RS thinks so.  And I've been spending all of the song looking at my fingers anyway, so I tried it in master mode.  It took a few tries, but I worked my way up to every note except one.  It least I'm consistent.

the video wasn't blocked for me.   so Jelly  of that shiny  bass.  also I do like that  mode without the notes on the screen i'll be sure to try that more often.

I love my bass too :) it's ugly as hell (Tiger eye quilt top finish) but it makes up for it's exterior with it's charismatic personality and massive horn :D One day I'll own a USA Peavey Cirrus model in maple finish... one day... one day... /sigh :)

OK....so i suspect i have found the issue with the random note ghost. I've been playing with an amp in parallel with rocksmith for the past few months. I am using a simple 'Y' adapter at the amp to split the signal to both amp and PC. Usually i have the guitar volume in rocksmith set to 0 so all i hear from the PC is the music - guitar comes straight through the amp. Rocksmith cannot mask my shitty playing this way.

 

However, tonight I turned the guitar volume up in rocksmith and discovered a heap of 'noise' on the signal. Once i plugged the guitar directly into the PC, the noise stopped. This is a result of the first run after these findings:

I also found the tuning of the E string critical. All of my random misses were on this string. Different finger pressures didn't seem to matter.

 

Anyhow, fair to say the remaining 3% is pilot error. After 50 something plays i think i've peaked  :wacko:

@@MonstaS4 Real tone cable is just quite crappy, it makes too much noise. Calibrating helps a little, I'd put some alum foil where batteries and rest of electric stuff are, improved it as well, still I hate the cable.
