Ukulele on Rocksmith?

I think you only have to change the tuning in bass with EOF

The standard tuning is:

Bass = E1 A1 D2 G2

Ukulele = G4 C4 E4 A4

You have to calculate the difference between strings of Bass to strings of Ukulele for tuning

I think for Bass tuning is:

E1 to G4 = + 39

A1 to C4 = + 25

D2 to E4 = + 22

G2 to A4 = + 22

You have to find the correct tuning in bass for sound like ukulele

Thx very nice i gonna try

I was thinking about this myself .... how did it work out?

I wonder why nobody ever made an ukulele cdlc. Now with the external mic function it should be no problem. You could also make it on the guitar path and just use the upper 4 strings - but yes it would make most sense with bass.

There are a lot of ukulele youtubers and fans - maybe Ubisoft also thought about implementing Ukulele at one point.... should be no problem - and this would open the game to a wider public and create adiditional income. I could imagine that this also would be something for the iOs version.

Even my girlfriend who isn't into rock and electric guitar at all likes the ukulele :-)

I don't really play at all but my wife has a ukulele that she also doesn't play at all that I installed a pickup in so I was thinking about making a ukulele song.

I recently got an acoustic guitar also so I was thinking about doing Garfunkel and Oates' song The Loophole. The Bob's Burgers theme song would be good too.

Are you sure nobody's got a new songs on ukulele? I've done a couple on mandolin actually.

I tried making a custom for "Hey, Soul Sister" by Train a while back (pre remastered) after fitting a cheap preamp to my cheap ukulele. Couldn't get the tuning to work properly and gave up. I think I must deleted the original files too. And my ukulele currently only has two strings. :(

It would be nice to have a couple of songs on here.

I tried this and it doesn't work, just FYI. The error is Error: Invalid tuning value (must be between -11 and 11)

Will have to try messing with the A440, in the toolkit, like I do for mandolin.

Firekorn helped me figure this out.

For G1 C1 E1 A1 you can do +3 -9 -10 -10, and then for frequency do 3520. I can pass tuning with this but have less luck with chord detection.

I did do my first ukulele CDLC though!

Thanks! It works :-)

Yay! How bad is the note detection with your uke? I got 30% the first time and 9% the 2nd, LOL.

Edit: NM, I see in the other thread that everything registered for you. ;)

Could it be your pickup? Try the difference with a Microphone (if you have one)

I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/Condenser-Ribbon-Microphone-Podcast-Computer/dp/B01142EPO4/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1516556190&sr=8-11&keywords=usb+microphone
