Rocksmithtotab unhandled Exception error

AnotsuSagami

Question

I have rocksmith for the PS3, and I've been trying to extract tab from the PC version of a file I found here. I open the program and get an error, then click continue to ignore it, and the program opens but won't extract anything.

Every time I open rocksmithtotab I get this error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

The GUI of the program only works if Rocksmith 2014 is installed on that computer. In your case, if I understood you correctly, you don't own the PC version and are trying to extract a single CDLC archive?

In this case, you have to use the console program. The easiest way to do that is just to drag'n'drop the psarc file you are trying to convert onto the RocksmithToTab.exe file in the Windows explorer.
