House of the Rising Sun by Animals is chords and arpeggios all the way. Arpeggios are using same chords as later chord-parts. Great song to learn both chords (D, C, Am, etc.) and sweep picking.

In "Junge" by die Ärzte there is a bonus rhythm track. It's the western guitar playing just chords through the whole song.

i remember it's F, G, Am, C and E maybe also Dm, but the strumming isn't slow, for practicing in Reff Repeater you can slow it dow.

It's here http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/junge-r7255

Hi Folks, have downloaded most of the suggestions and will give them a try.

Recently lost my profile on RS2014 so sort of starting again.

This forum is the best and have made more progress in two weeks than I have since starting due to the songs available and the help,

Many thanks

Someone already mentioned my Pink - Family Portrait :D

Off the top of my head, my customs with straight up easy chords paths (usually in rhythm in my customs) are

Soul Asylum - Runaway Train

Passenger - Let Her Go

Bryan Adams - When You're Gone

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (lead path is quite easy and full of easy chords)

Neil Young - Rockin In The Free World

There's probably more, but I can't mind right now.

Have fun man :)

searching REM brings up nothing.

thanks

One I forgot with an excellent clean rhythm track is my custom of Seahorses - Blinded By The Sun

http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/blinded-by-the-sun-r1394

The lead is really difficult but the rhythm is nice and "clean", and lots of fun :)

Edit - and also Comfortably Numb, the rhythm path has nice clean chords too.

I'll recommend some songs that I charted:

Thomas Giles - Hypoxia (Whole song switches between [F#], [F]  [A# minor], there are few power chords in 1 section)

Thomas Giles - Scared (The Verses switches between [D#] and [C minor])

(The Chorus switches between [G# major7], [F minor] and [G#])

(The intro and outro are finger picking, so it might be a bit tricky)

Koji Kondo - Gerudo Valley (Rhythm guitar has [A6], [D], [E] and [C#] repeating throughout the whole song)

From Zelda:Ocarina of Time

Dave Matthews Band - Gaucho (Rhythm uses handshape of [A# minor], [G#] and [F# Suspend2] for all of the verses)

                                                  (Rhythm plays [D# minor], [F#], [F# Major7] and [G# add4] for the 1st and 2nd Choruses)

(Rhythm plays [E], , [D], [F#] after 2nd chorus and in the outro)

Paint it Black by Rolling Stones (official song) - rhythm path is full of chords. I recently spotted that, it's worth of checking out.
