Am I the only one getting cramps in the left hand from this song... ?

I can't believe this is the best I could manage so far.

Oh god the pain, same here.

Anyways, been a busy week for me, however, just making these in the nick of time (proof - http://i.imgur.com/UBbPad6.jpg):

The Misfits - Dig Up Her Bones

Lead - 96.14%, 109 streak

Bass - 99.71%, 481 streak

Whitesnake - Walking in the Shadow of the Blues

Lead - 92.73%, 128 streak

Rhythm - 99.53%, 259 streak

Bass - 98.76%, 387 streak

Biffy Clyro - Biblical

Lead - 89.78%, 68 streak

Rhythm - 89.22%, 69 streak

Bass - 98.68%, 308 streak

The solo in the Whitesnake song was something. I could barely play it enough to be comfortable recording it, aha, so.. my apologies. However, absolutely love the Biffy Clyro song, so thanks to whomever suggested it/picked it (even if I didn't do great at it, 90% isn't too bad though).

You did very good on Dig Up Her Bones!

I recommend you using alternate picking for the whole song, it will sound better and your hand won't be tired

You should get some Light Top Heavy bottom strings. Good for when you like tuning low but still wanna do leads.

When i got money i will buy them!

Also i should calibrate my guitar, and a lot of things haha (This LP has 4 years)

I think 91% is my maximum for now, i can't go further than that

Thanks! (Good work on the custom too by the way)

I assume you're referring to the palm muted sections specifically, in which case.. yeah. You're absolutely right, I just can't palm mute + alternate pick - I have no idea why, my hand just refuses to cooperate.

Conclusion

The beginner song was really fun to play and fast at the same time. In my opinion, this song requires more strumming  hand workout than the fret hand workout as there are pretty much only basic power chords to be played throughout the song.

Whitesnake song would probably have to be my favorite of the bunch. Its like a typical classic rock song. You have the main part of the song where there are double stops / powerchords whit some occassional riff and then comes the solo which is most of the times quite hard. It was indeed one of the harder solos but really fun to play (even tho i didnt hit that much of it).

I'd actually say this was easier to me than the Misfits song simply because it was bit more slower and fun to listen to.

The Biffy Clyro song gave me a nice tour around the uncomfortrable zone. Couldn't say i enjoyed the ride but a learning experience is a learning experience.
It brought lots of new chord shapes to me which got me a while to understand and for my fingers to move correctly. First few tries my fingers were just weird and the chords made no sense to me but after a while the chords started falling into places and i got a nice score on it.

I feel violated after playing the Megadeth song. Enough said.

I've been playing my lovely Epiphone Les Paul Jr. (yes, the bundle guitar) since December of 2013. So far I've been more than enjoying the ride and i love playing.

If you're reading this and you make custom DLC, thank you as i enjoy getting CDLC!

I can't believe this is the best I could manage so far.

Of course cramps included over here ... Did you think punk spirit comes for free??

Hard 2 believe how some guitarists are working on stage during a 2 hours gig... Awesome...

Funny thing is its getting better after a few tries - keep goin bro !!

For the accuracy: Your score aint that bad at all taken into account the everything but beginner velocity...

I suppose you can easily gain 10% per doing RiffRepeater starting at 70% speed or so with acceleration over the changes to the lower powerchords in the refrain - that probably costs you most!

Fight on,

Lol, I broke my E string machine head while trying to put new strings on  And I couldn't remove it :o Well, it was made in 1996, and I was re-tuning a lot (as far as A, twice). But I still couldn't remove it to find out what's going on. And they said changing string is easy, 10 min and you're done  :(
