  1. Hi guys, I am already playing Rocksmith with a lot of CDLC on PC But recently, my PC cannot stand the heat produced by Rocksmith (yeay, it's an old laptop) And I had tried google and search around the forum on how to Import CDLC to Xbox 360, but no result. Yes, I do realize that some of the CDLC have format for xbox. But, I could not find any tutorial on how to import them into my Xbox External HDD My Xbox is modded, JTAG, and has lot of experience using Horizon So, may I know the steps to import them? FROM A - Z
  2. I installed a lot of CDLC, and later can see that some DLCs are noy showing at all. (but I can see them installed in the console) The DLC rocksmith import (the big one) are missing, and some DLCs also are not showing at all. I uninstalled some CDLCs but the problems still remains. I'm using a rgh XBOX360 and I add the songs via usb. I don't know what is wrong.
  3. Hi, I had successfully installed custom DLCs and played them quite a few times. I was in the middle of "I Don't Wanna Stop" and hit pause. When I hit exit from the pause menu, my laptop crashed, won't turn on, not even the battery indicator light shows up. My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad that easily exceeded the minimum requirements, but it is currently a brick. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm thinking of getting Rocksmith for Xbox one, but then I lose so many custom DLC that are so fun, but is it worth another crash?? Ughhh.... Thanks!
  4. I've been playing Rocksmith on an old Xbox 360 for years but lately it's been reporting a lot of false errors, mostly when I'm playing chords - even if the chord doesn't change and I'm just strumming, it says I'm making errors. The problem has been getting worse as time goes by, as has the audio lag. I tried the Mac version from Steam and the experience is way better - it only tells me I've made a mistake when I've actually made a mistake! So I've decided to junk the Xbox (Rocksmith was the only thing I used it for) but don't want to lose all the DLC songs I've already paid for. To try to recover the songs, I removed the hard drive from the Xbox and plugged it into a spare SATA port and power supply on my PC (not my Mac). I then downloaded FATXplorer (https://fatxplorer.eaton-works.com/download/) which can read the Xbox's FAT format, and which lists all the songs I bought, amongst other things. I'm now able to extract the songs and copy them to my Mac, where I've been trying to convert them to Mac format, but nothing I've tried works. Is this possible to do? Any help would be appreciated and I can upload a sample extracted song, if required.
  5. Hello every one just figured I would give a quick rundown for how I use custom rocksmith songs for my rgh xbox. Rgh or jtag xbox is required. first download the rocksmith tool kit. Then you will need a dlc song you have already downloaded. (to do this I looked through the toolkit too see what codes are available, I had purchased a few songs on my retail xbox and sure enough i had a song that was in the toolkit, crazy on you) Copied the song from my retail hdd to a usb stick and then opened using xm360 on the rgh and unlocked the dlc using xm360. At this step I loaded the game up to make sure it worked. Now import the cdlc you would like to use or have just downloaded into the creator. I make a random folder i delete to save the artifacts to. You dont need them for this. Then use the the option to change the song id to the song you have purchased (for me this was crazy on you heart) Now you want to do this before you change it to a xbox package. after you have changed the song id you can uncheck the different console options ie. pc, mac xbox or ps3. I just check xbox and then click generate package and save it to my usb for my xbox in a well labled folder ie. rockmith customs, Now boot up your rgh or jtag and load xex menu. find your usb drive and the folder you created and copy the xbox package you generated earlier. move over to hdd find your content folder 9should be lots of 00000... folders. find 0000000000000000 and then 555308C0 and in the folder you should have this one 00000002. install your cdlc to this folder. now fire up your game and you should have cdlc. Hope this helps i had lots of issues with this and there is very little help out there

  7. Hi, I'm getting an error when I try to generate the PS3 & XBox files for one of my CDLC. This is the first time I have experienced this. Before posting I verified my Java was up to date, it is version 8 (build 1.8.0_66-b18). Here is my project folder, and here is the error: Any help anyone can give is appreciated.
  8. I wonder if there is any way I could play some dlc xbox in rocksmith2014 one?
  9. Are there differences between platforms in trms of core components? I tried to batch convert a few filees from PC to PS3 and noticed some errors. Ive searched around and cant seem to find anything to let me know what theese differences may be and figured id ask here before reading through the RST source files on github to figure it out.
  10. Hello all, I've recently moved from XBOX to PC, I'm now using Steam to Play Rocksmith 2014. Since I can't import purchased songs from my XBOX account, I'll be buying some of them again and one of them is: Born under a Bad Sign: by Albert Collins and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Looking in the Steam DLC's, this is only available for Rocksmith, not Rocksmith 2014. So, is there a difference between what's available for XBOX RS2014, and what's available for the same game on Steam? Sorry if this is somehow obvious but I'm brand new to Steam and still finding my way around! Thanks, Nick.
  11. Hello all, First time here so I hope I am in the right place. Absolutely love playing Rocksmith - it's the only thing I play on my XBox. The thing is that I wouls really love to learn some Pink Floyd, or Prince - I mean I really, really want to! Seems to me that it would be much easier to just buy the game for PC and use my cable there. Obviously, I don't want to shell out all over again for the game, so would buying this, from the 'Bay, work? I have absolutely no idea how to use CDLC but I like to learn as I go along, rather than read up and then get everything I need. So, if I bought that - would i be good to go for using CDLC on my PC? I'm running Win8 and I have dual monitors, if that makes any difference? Thanks, Nick.
  12. just wondering if anyone has figured out how to run cdlc on a 360 without modding the console?
  13. Ive created a Customs Forge Crew for GTA V Join us!! http://pt.socialclub.rockstargames.com/crew/customs_forge
  14. No matter how hard I search, I just cannot find a great walkthrough for getting the CDLC to my Xbox 360. First off, do you really need to mod your Xbox in order to do it? Second off, can someone please give me a step-by-step walkthrough on how to do it? Thanks.
  15. Hi everyone! I apologize if this question has been asked - I did do a search around here and Google but couldn't find it anywhere. I purchased Rocksmith 2014 for my Xbox 360 and later wanted to be able to play upstairs too (kids hog the TV) so got Rocksmith 2014 for the PC, which is where all my dlc lives. I'm registered on Steam, so Steam knows this - my question is: Is there any way to somehow link the two so I can access the content I've bought for PC on Xbox? I'm thinking it's unlikely because of different file formats, etc... but in case Steam or Rocksmith was smart enough to let me do this I thought I'd ask all of you experts. I don't want to purchase the same DLC twice, but am not sure if there can be any connection between the two? Thanks for any insight!! I love this site so much, I have gotten so much help and tips from really nice people. :D Thanks, Karen
