Is there a way to view/show the actual bass notes instead of fret numbers when playing a song? Thank you.

so I have a gp7 tab converted to gp7 (in guitar pro 7.5) but once imported in eof (1.8RC12 + hotfix) only 3/4 of the tab appears in eof I also tried to convert the tab with tuxguitar and either I get the same result or the tab is stretch to 5/4 of the song I have idea why it's the first and only tab to do that I forgot to mention that once converted in gp5 the tab is correct and it's only in eof that their is 1/4 missing also the tab is correct because it comes from the band itself

Is there any way of exporting / downloading the tabs of a song from Rocksmith? Thanks!

So I'm working on a CDLC that incorporates some guitar feedback into its song and I was wondering. Is there any proper way to chart out a 'feedback effect' for a certain note? Should I substitute it with a pinch harmonic? Or should it be left blank? For those that don't know what a feedback effect is, here's a video explaining how it's done:

Are there rules for posting CDLC someone has already put out?
DatPizzaGuy posted a question in Rocksmith Remastered
When I bought Rocksmith, I really liked the idea of CDLC, so much so I decided to try it out myself. I've only charted 1 song and have another on standby. I mostly chart songs that have already been published mostly because all the songs I want to chart myself have already been done (and some of those tabs need a bit of work to fix up.) I probably should have asked this before posting my first CDLC but I'll ask now: Are there any rules regarding posting CDLC that other charters have already done? If so, what is allowed and what isn't. Also, is there anything I should keep in mind about posting CDLC already made? P.S. I just want to point out, I'm not re-posting CDLC already made by someone else, my charts are original as I tab out these songs myself. -

I want to start transcribing songs to tab that have not already been done. What workflow and programs do you use to create tabs? I have been using Anytune on the iPad to slow down songs and figure out notes but have not started to tab them out. I just use it to memorize and play by ear. What program do you use to listen to a song, slow it down, transcribe to tab and then replay to verify accuracy? I would eventually like to por tthe tab to CDLC. Thanks in advance.

Hey there! I love this Forum so much, even though i'm simply not able to contribute by making CDLC - makes me even happier to still be able to download the great work all of you are doing - so thank you! My Idea: Sometimes i'ts easier to learn a little part of a Song (maybe the last 10 notes that are in one rifrepeater part that is about 90 notes long - and you don't need to play the first 80 notes because you already can play them perfect) by looking at a Tab. Wouldn't it be great to know which Tab the Maker of the CDLC File used? Because there are hundreds of different ways to play a part - i think we all know that. So maybe if we click the first link and get to the stats, were all the useful facts are noted like tuning, supported instruments and so on, there could be a category where a link to the Guitar pro file, ASCI Tab etc. is provided. Sorry for my bad english - tried my best ;) And even without that feature i love you guys!!

Hi. I have been making some bass cover videos on YouTube and putting tabs for the song. I play all songs in standart tuning and try to make the bassline close to the original but also interesting and easy to remember/play(since it's so hard and pointless to play all the notes exactly like the bassist did on the recording). Maybe I will do some lessons about bass and musical theory applied to it, if anybody is interested... So this is my YouTube channel: youtube.com/user/MysteriousBassBoy I would also recommend this site for learning bass, as it helped me a lot years ago, now it looks like it's has some paid lessons put I think there's still lots of good stuff for free there. It also has a cool bass tuner and other resources like that. This isn't for money or just personal promotion, I really want some positive criticism over my videos and I think that many people here could learn a little bit with me and teach me some stuff too. Hope this is helpful for somebody...

I saw this video from New Scientist demo-ing the impact of "gamification" on learning the piano. Seems to have many ideas/features that are perhaps familiar to people using this forum. I wonder how they encode whichever music notation is supported for use?

Bass tabs for "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"
Kamyk posted a question in Rocksmith Remastered
Hi...so I transcribed "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" on guitar...but there's a sweet bass line, which I want to include. The problem is...that there aren't any good tabs. I tried to tab it myself using my electric guitar, but then some weird notes came in (Opened D note on fattest string, but then another sound came in, which also sounded like an opened D note). The one thing I know for sure - the tuning is Drop D. Can you help me? -
http://youtu.be/vQY26kcbDDc http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/j/jimi_hendrix/bold_as_love_tab.htm Here is an incomplete tab (tuning should actually be Eb Standard instead of E standard). If someone could help me by completing the tab, I would make the cdlc because I am really really dedicated to learning this one. Thanks
