  1. Hey there! So I wonder about this for a long time and it never seemed that important to me but I regulary had this during the last days in official dlc and cdlc. I couldn't find a good answer searching for it here or on google. How do I play open notes frethand muted? How do I do this with guitar and especially with bass? The game often shows specifically on which fret I should mute the notes with "normal" frethand muted notes/chords, so where the hack do I have to frethand mute open notes? A logical answer for me would be with the right hand but then there should be a palm mute symbol, not a frethand mute symbol. But its clearly a small cross that indicates frethand mute... It gets more confusing when we talk about fingerpicked bass. The new Incubus dlc has various open frethand mutes, and should be fingerpicked. I watched the Incubus developer stream to get an answer but it seemed to me they just ignore the mute symbol and play a normal open string. Thanks!
  2. So often when I make a cdlc there are no bass tabs available, but for *most* songs the bass tab looks alot like the rythm guitar tab, so what I do is select all, copy and paste in bass. Then select all, deselect single notes, clear orange, deselect single notes, clear blue, deselect single notes, clear yellow. now all the chords are reduced to their bass note. Also PM are almost not used in bass, in some guitar genres alot (the ones I'm making anyway) So now I still have to delete (make normal notes) out the PM, what can be alot of selecting work, following complex chug patterns. Also later on checking out the total bass tab offcourse. But now what I suggest is a 'Bassify' function in EoF that does this in one step. 1) reducing chords to their bass note 2) making all the PM notes to normal notes Or maybe 2 seperate buttons for this. I don't know if its possible to implement, but it would help out alot I think, maybe also encourage people to include bass more. Let me know what you think of it :)
  3. Hello there! I've got a question about frethand mutes in EOF / Guitar Pro. I have a guitar pro file that looks like this: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh283/pipiclub/fhmgp.jpg I imported that into EOF and I get it in RS like that: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh283/pipiclub/fhmutes.jpg So in general its okay - I just would like to have it aestheticly improved so that the frethand mutes are displayed on the same frets as the chords - How can I tell GuitarPro that the mutes should be on the 10th fret? Thank you very much!
