While I was messing around in TexMod I discovered that all the textures within rocksmith are changeable!!! So I thought I could make a tutorial on changing random stuff! c: Step #1: Download texmod Step #2: Click on target application and choose your rocksmith2014.exe http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah254/connorgioia/Steptwojpg_zps9db0f037.jpg Step #3: Click on Logging mode, Check off: Draw control and texture info, Show texture on upper left corner, Replace Texture (with a green texture). Change output format to BMP. Log with F1(You can change this to whatever you want). Change your output folder with a new empty folder on your desktop and hit run http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah254/connorgioia/stepthree_zps11144531.png Step #4: We will be editing the wood texture on the rocksmith menu screen c: after hitting run. you should see red text displaying in your corner http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah254/connorgioia/Rocksmith20142014-08-0723-50-49-524_zpsd3436a67.png Step #5: At the menu screen. Press * to filter textures to the area you're in. Then press + or - to search through the textures till you find the wood texture. Go to TexMod, click Package Build. If definition file is not set. Click on the small folder. Navigate to where you saved your wood texture. And select 'TexMod.log'. Type in your name or alias in Creator Name. Put a description in Comment. Navigate to where you saved the package. and select it c: And hit run ! in the title, i've tried playing lonely boy by the black keys twice and whenever i go into it it does the bit where its about to play but the top bar isn't there and a lot of the songs just have a line rather than showing the difficulty, any suggestions, thanks

I have loads of CDLC, so i know i am doing it right. I have the .dll file and i tried the patcher, still nothing. They just dont show up on the list. I tried to delete some of the crap ones, hoping there was a limit, but that didnt work. -
Hello Everyone, I'm so new here that I don't understand anything at all about creating customs songs to play on my store bought Rocksmith2014 for PC. I read over some of the tuts and watched some of the vids on the subject, but still don't understand it at all. So I have a question. Since making actual custom songs are beyond my understanding, Is there a way I can just download custom songs that other people have already made, add them to my RS songs folder, and play them? If that's a yes, can someone point me in the right direction to finding a tute on how to do just that? I see the CDLC Search tab at the top of my screen and have followed it as far as downloading songs with a p.psarc file extension but have no idea what these files are. Are these songs that people have already created? If so, do I just add them to my RS2014 songs folder to be able to play them or is there more to all this? Any help would be appreciated..Thanks

Hi all, I have assembled in one HTML file a list of all Smithy and CDLC-related posts that served as my steep learning curve into the authoring of a CDLC. So I've been trying to convert PC customs to PS3 but it's not happening. Toolkit always gives an error. When I open rebuilder it says Java not detected, even though java is installed. I have tried on four different windows PCs. If Java is the problem, how do I get it to work? Anybody had this problem before? Any help is much appreciated.

I have Rocksmith 2014 through steam and Cherub rock dlc. I downloaded some Mac CDLC and the final step says to laugh Rocksmith using RSInjector but when I double click on it, nothing happens. Please help

Hey guys. I just wanted to know a way to use Wwise TO TAB FOR for xbox and ps3. As is, I can only use Wwise for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. How can I do it for other platforms? Thanks for looking, pls leave a reply.

Okay so, trying to tab out my first CDLC. Few things to start with (when i use the word "correct" I am going by the numerous tutorials on this forum): The arrangement is for bass I have the correct difficulty selected, The correct track (PART REAL_BASS) selected The correct arrangement type selected (Bass) It is imported from guitar pro, and syncs up perfectly using claps in EoF The lyrics i added in sync up just fine too. I'm using the latest EOF, Wwave, RSCustomKit and UltraStar Creator for lyrics. The song compiles just fine in RSCustom, and loads fine into Rocksmith 2014. However, when i get to playing the song, the notes on the noteway are offset by one bar (they show up one measure after they are supposed to, but are otherwise accurate). Also, the lyrics don't show up. Another thing to note: when I'm saving in EoF i get several error dialogs popping up: "One or more problems with defined fret hand positions were found. Cancels ave and review them now?" - I click NO for this "Warning: At least one slide note doesn't define its ending position. Unless you define this information they will export as 1 fret slides. Cancel save?" Again, i default to "No" because i dont know how to fix that, and i dont see how it would affect the start of the song "Write pitchless lyrics as playable freestyle" I dont know what this is so i usually click "No" "Warning: There is no END Phrase, but the beat maker after the last note in "PART REAL_BASS" Already has a phrase. You should move that phrase because only one phrase per beat is exported" No option here other than to click OK. It's kinda doing my head in after figuring out a lot of other stuff, and its a small thing that ruins the entire song. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ok so im looking into getting a new bass guitar Ive been playing about 2 years but only really got serious about learning about a few months back i have a $200 ibanez right now which isnt bad but i figure its about time for a upgrade. my price range is about $500-$700. ive seen a few basses that have peeked my interest like the fender P basses but im just not 100% sure So i thought id ask for some advice and or recommendations anything is really appreciated . Thank.

Hello people, My girlfriend's got a (not Fender) P-bass pretty cheap, and it hadn't got any pickups. So I told her I could try and wire it for her, if she buys some pickups. Her dad then bought pickups without a brand or whatsoever, and after checking wiring diagrams I don't think they can be wired into the bass, but I'm not sure. I've got some pictures of the Pickups: http://i.imgur.com/Zfo33oJ.jpg As you see, the blue wire is the connection of the elements, then there's the yellow wire to connect to the volume control, but all pickups and wire diagrams I've seen have another wire also going to the volume control. My girlfriend's dad says it should work by cutting the wires between the two elements, and wire them via the cavity, but I really don't see how this works.. Can somebody explain how I should do this or why it isn't possible? My girlfriend is dying to start practicing bass. Here is the cavity of the bass: http://i.imgur.com/EzImLCT.jpg Thanks in advance! Tonight I noticed on my Steam library that both my Rocksmith and Rocksmith 2014 have been uninstalled from my Steam library. I have not done anything to uninstall them and I think it has something to do with Steam. I re installed both games and when I have loaded Rocksmith 2014, all my custom DLC are gone. I do have my purchased DLC. I have tried using the latest Rocksmith Toolkit to update the App ID on the CDLC but to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If you have a solution, please share it. Thank you very much.

Hello. When I tried to save my work in EOF, it told me it couldn't export a chord because it couldn't be matched with the chord template. Because of this, it aborted its RS2 export. Help pls? -
Hello guys, First of all thanks for creating this amazing website... My problem is that I've downloaded some CDLC songs and when I'm trying to play them I get stuck on a screen and It won't move from that point, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, I'm trying to make CDLC for RS 2014 and I have found theese problems so far. I searched for a solution in the forums but I haven't found anything. 1. I don't get an .xml archive for the vocals when I save my Eof project. I get this error message: http://s22.postimg.org/5nh4ysg7l/lyric_export.jpg 2. When i put my bass line (part real_bass or part real_bass_22, i tried both) it says it's not valid for RS 2014. It works if I make the DLC for RS 2012 : http://s28.postimg.org/wgtntk3dp/Valid_arrangement.jpg 3. I tried to "fool" the Tool Kit by uploading the bass for RS2012 and then change the dlc to make it for RS2014, but then I got this other problem and then it crashes. Hey I'm trying to make my first cdlc but I'm abit stuck.When I tried to import my arrangement xml file, I noticed there wasn't any and saw that my "Real guitar files" weren't Xml but just an ordinary .eof fileAll help is welcome.

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to put in what is normally called a return bend, but Rocksmith calls them pre-bends. How would I go about doing this? My plan was to put a regular bend upwards, then link it next to a pre-bend. Help please?

Error- When I try to fret a string higher than fret 17 on the low E string, it turns into a muted string note. Help please?

So I'm building my own V guitar, and going to order a custom Floyd bridge, but there are a couple things that confuses me. First is the block, the list consists of brass, tungsten steel, stone and titanium and the sizes from 32mm up to 42mm. What is the pros/cons of each material, and size, and ultimately, which should I get? The other thing that confuses me is the nut size, that is listed from R1 up to R10, I going to take a guess that those are just varying sizes, and I did measure the nut shelf at 1'11/16s (if I remember correctly) So, if anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Hi...so I transcribed "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" on guitar...but there's a sweet bass line, which I want to include. The problem is...that there aren't any good tabs. I tried to tab it myself using my electric guitar, but then some weird notes came in (Opened D note on fattest string, but then another sound came in, which also sounded like an opened D note). The one thing I know for sure - the tuning is Drop D. Can you help me? -
