Should i take them like apples to apples, or like apples to oranges. I understand the first have a coloured sound, while the studio monitors have a plain sound that reflects the actual studio appearance of the music you hear. The same ive read many times that on average studio monitors are considered by most an unpleasant way to hear music, and as in Rocksmith you get everything mixed thats what you are doing. Let leave aside for a momment the different purpose of each one. My question is, should i compare the 500 watt rms of the Logitech Z906 with the 100watt to 300watt you would get out
Hey, everyone! I'm thinking of buying a new electric guitar, I have a budget of about 850$. Personally, I am a metal head and I want to get a guitar that reflects that taste of music. I'm torn between either Jackson or Ibanez (also there is a 7-String PRS SE Custom I came across while looking around which I really liked). What do you guys think? What should I get? (Oh and I'm considering Orange or Blackstar regarding amps.)
Hello customsforge friends :D, hope you all are having a nice week. I've been thinking about upgrading my Peavey Rockmaster (cheapest guitar ever), I've been thinking about buying a EMG pickup, but I'm not sure which one to buy... I don't fully understand the difference between passive or active pickups... the guitar already has a bridge pickup which is not bad, but I'd like a better sound... I've been trying to pick from these two, the H4 and the H4a http://www.emgpickups.com/guitar/humbucking/passive-humbucking/h4.html http://www.emgpickups.com/guitar/humbucking/passive-humbucking/
Hello there, i'm hoping you lot can spare some of your knowledge. I'm currently looking for a cheap amp solution (£200< preferably) that'll provide plenty of effects since i like to play a variety of songs. I'm currently leaning towards a Vox vt20+ or vt40+ which weigh in at £140 and £180 respectively. They feel a little overcomplicated to use however. I've also given the Roland Cube a go, it doesn't offer the same number of effects but the loop you can have is a pretty useful feature. I'd love to hear some other suggestions, maybe a cheap pedal and amp combination or something? :)
