  1. Yeah, yeah, I know, banjos aren't Rock, but technically a banjo tuning could be accomplished, and with an acoustic pickup, it might work. Anyone else think of this, or other possible instruments? Thoughts?
  2. Hi, I've got a big problem. Some customs just aren't present on the song list. I want to play "Killing In The Name" or "Guilty All The Same" but they aren't present. I've changed the ID, copy-pasted the DX9_42.dll (or something like that) file and nothing's changed.
  3. this is my first custom and I need help testing the solo/sweeping parts. any feedback will be appreciated the song is Escape the fate - Aftermath (G3) the solo/sweeping parts need more work i'll post a new link soon
  4. So I'm building my own V guitar, and going to order a custom Floyd bridge, but there are a couple things that confuses me. First is the block, the list consists of brass, tungsten steel, stone and titanium and the sizes from 32mm up to 42mm. What is the pros/cons of each material, and size, and ultimately, which should I get? The other thing that confuses me is the nut size, that is listed from R1 up to R10, I going to take a guess that those are just varying sizes, and I did measure the nut shelf at 1'11/16s (if I remember correctly) So, if anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thank you :D
  5. I do have the Bass Hero Project started, but I am also planning to do other customs to change a bit! What I'm working on: John Lennon - Imagine: Bass is complete, Rhythm Guitar (piano) still needs DD and Lead Guitar (vocals) still needs to be finalized. Tones are yet to be found/created. Van Halen - Eruption: Bass is complete, Lead Guitar just needs DD (tech notes are included!) Yes - Roundabout: I just have started this one; please be patient! What I've already released: Nothing - yet If you think you can help me in any way, you are greatly welcomed!

  8. Hey everybody. I have only been playing for 2 months but, being a gadget guy and loving to get new stuff, I keep finding guitars to drool over. My latest obsession: PRS guitars. I went to a GC yesterday to get some lemon oil for my 1st ever restringing of a guitar (my Gibson SGJ), and while I was there, I played 2 S2 Custom 24's, a S2 Mira, a SE Santana, and a used SE Custom 22. Of those, the 22 felt the best to me for playing, the Mira was the best to hold (so light! so nice!), and the 24 is the most beautiful. My question is this: I have been reading online to try to find differences between the SE and S2 series, and I only seem to be able to find comparisons between the S2 and Core series. I know that the S2's are made in Maryland and the SE's are made in Korea, but what are the other differences? What other features does the S2 series have over the SE's to justify the $500 price difference? On a seperate note: the used SE Custom 22 had a flattop, which really put me off for some reason. I thought all PRS Custom guitars had a maple cap (or a not flattop)? Could someone clarify that for me? Because if that is the norm, then maybe I will get it!
  9. Hello fellow Guitarists, I'm deaf42! I love making CDLC's so I figured I'd start a post Where you can access all my CDLC. I'm a classically trained musician who studied jazz in college, so I like having sheet music for my songs, because of that, I am going to start trying to include the Guitar Pro TABs and Standard Notation with all my packages in case you guys want to check that out. THE LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK ANYMORE USE THIS LINK TO FIND ALL MY CDLC Making Custom charts for you all brings me such joy, and while I love Avenged Sevenfold, I am willing to do other artists as well. If you have a chart you want done, let me know. Maybe I'll do it, maybe I won't. Can't hurt to ask I love all types of music from classical to swing to bebop to thrash metal to classic rock. So NOTHING is out of the question for me! Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil(9 tracks - complete album) 1. Beast and the Harlot: Official DLC, Ain't Happening 2. Burn it Down 3. Blinded in Chains 4.
