have a problem and i have the DLC Cherub Rock but cant play any of the CDLC only thing that happens is the tuning of the guitar and then the speakers react to me playing the guitar and sound goes through. There is just no fret board. pleas help!

Hi, I've just got a new Windows 10 laptop and have tried migrating my Rocksmith files from my old Windows 7 laptop. Initially I copied the DLC file and CFSM files that live under the Rocksmith 2014 folder. Doing this, I could see all songs - CustomsForge official songs plus CDLC. The official songs seem to all work fine, however when I 'play' CDLC, I get past the tuning stage, but the screen then doesn't produce the song - I'm just in the setting with the amps and can play the guitar (so the game isn't frozen) but nothing happens with the song. I thought that maybe I needed to download CFSM again, so downloaded the rar file, got that opened etc... - but unfortunately that hasn't fixed the issue Any ideas on what likely simple step I'm missing? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! sorry admins if this isn't posted in correct thread new member here, managed to get CDLC working today! really impressed with the time and effort people have put in, amazing! my post is really about the difficulty levels on some CDLC i'm fairly new to guitar still (under 1 year) and can only play the odd song on hard and rest medium almost/some easy depends on the artist! and some of CDLC i really want but i have noticed on any difficulty, the chart/notes are the same no matter what is this because there is no dynamic difficulty? because i have noticed some songs that have DD you can play easy/medium/hard and it scales to adjust my other request would be does anybody know good creators/songs i can grab that are DD friendly for myself out there, until i get good enough to play the full difficulties :unsure: so more friendly kinda beginner/intermediate songs Thanks everyone for reading! replies be greatly appreciated! keep on rockin' :lol:

Need help on the song "Tread The Floods" for CDLC

For some reason, whenever I try to click on Tread The FLoods on Rocksmith and after tuning, it isn't loading. All that's there is just the amp for me to jam out on and it's there for minutes. I have the file on Rocksmith and DLC yet it still wasn't working. Can someone help me please? -
So I'm a total noob in creating CDLC but i did not find anything with searching the forums. I tried today creating my first CDLC and came accross the problem that i have 4 different tab tracks inside the guitar pro file. As I tried to import the second Tab, EOF just giving me an error which says there are already notes in this difficulty. I'm pretty sure theres a way to sort of merge them to get a Lead and Rhythm Track but i just couldn't figure out how. So theres my question, how do i merge or combine the guitar parts ? Thx for any help

Hi guys, do you feel underwhelmed by the quality of the CDLC? Don't tale me wrong, I'm really grateful to the people putting their time and effort and for free providing everybody lots of hours of practice ... I'm just wondering if there is a way that we could try to increase the quality of the final product, more now that UBISOFT stopped providing new DLC... Maybe a way to vote ? Give it some stars?

I've noticed a lot of charters mentioning that they got Tabs from Songsterr lately. There sure is a lot of new stuff there, since the last time I looked. If you want to extract the Guitar Pro Tabs, you have to join, but not pay (unless you want to.) You've got to switch to the old version, allow Flash in Settings on your browser, and hit Submit a New Revision, before you get the GPx you want, then download it. Then you skip the upload after all. Bit of a fiddle, but it sure is worth it. They are of variable quality with tracks missing sometimes, or even whole parts, but it definitely beats transcribing it all yourself or importing midis. Some have all the bends, slides Hos and Pos all done nicely for you to put straight into EoF. The old version with this loophole may not be around forever so best to download the GPxs you want now. Just mentioning this in case you hadn't noticed or couldn't get it to work. Hope this helps somebody make a few customs easier.

The thing is that when i create a different songs by the same artist, sometimes the new song just overwrites the previous one... Physical psarc files are all there, in dlc folder, but in the game only appears some of them. I think that maybe the problem comes with the package id option.. i feel im doing something wrong. Any tips to fix that?

Number of songs under "artists" never seem correct

I'm just wondering why the numbers of songs reported for each artist under the "Artists" forum never seem to be correct? For intance, behind Fleetwood Mac is says (20) which I would think is related to the amount of cdlc-files I will find on that link. In stead I find 9, and two that I need to purchase. Why is this? Hey everyone sorry if this is painfully easy to fix. I have started downloading CDLC after following all instructions and to my pleasant surprise, it was all working. However after or a week or so, many of the tracks will no longer load, they won't even get to the tuning stage, they won't launch after picking them in Learn A Song. I figured out that I could still get some of them to work as per usual when I disconnected my Mac from wi-fi. Unfortunately this means that most of the CDLC will no longer show up. Any help on fixing this so I can enjoy my full haul of CDLC? Thanks y'all! -
Hi ! I would like to know if it is possible to modify the tuning of a CDLC? I love Sabaton, but many CDLCs have different tunings. And some tunings have absolutely ugly audio rendering. (and with my 4-string bass, the sound is not very good for tunings like the A220). So, just for my personal pleasure (and also to avoid having to constantly re-tune when I make 100% Sabaton streams), I would like to see it is it possible to simply modify the tuning of the CDLC? I obviously have the Psarc files, but I have absolutely no knowledge of the art of modding. thank you !

Hi, I created just another song with my toolset and this time the song is crashing Rocksmith. During CDLC creation I got no error messages that would give me a sign, where the problem comes from. Best, Adrian

Hi everyone, I wanted to know if someone has the same problem as me. I have Rocksmith 2014 original on steam, with Cherub Rock DLC and the last dll (as the guide indicate). To avoid any problem, I always run everything as an administrator (steam, rocksmith, CFSM). However, many songs do not appear within the game. For starters, none of the RS1 songs works (they don't appear in game). Some songs, like "Creep - Radioheadsong" (song pack 9) appear with a small padlock, and when I click on them, they send me to the store (although I have the psarc file in the dlc folder). To solve these inconsistencies I decided to download CFSM and activate the options such as "include RS1 compatibility pack", "validate DLL" and all. It didn't help, in fact I could see more inconsistencies like this:- Rocksmith song count: 1437- Raw songs count: 1179 - In game songs (filtered by "all"): 1183 The thing is..I´ve a lot of songs to play, but some songs that I like a lot can´t be played. There´s something that I could do to fix this? I tried to download some of them as CDLC, but songs like Space Oddity - Bowie are ODLC, so the only way I can play it is by the game itself. I´ve the psarc file for PC (not Mac, no PS3 or XBOX) why rocksmith didn´t recognize it? Thanks for the help in advance, I really don't know what to do anymore and I'm dealing with this problem since I bought rocksmith in 2017.

Hi, I had successfully installed custom DLCs and played them quite a few times. I was in the middle of "I Don't Wanna Stop" and hit pause. When I hit exit from the pause menu, my laptop crashed, won't turn on, not even the battery indicator light shows up. My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad that easily exceeded the minimum requirements, but it is currently a brick. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm thinking of getting Rocksmith for Xbox one, but then I lose so many custom DLC that are so fun, but is it worth another crash?? Ughhh.... Thanks!

I decided to add a few exercises and songs to RS. I had about 600 songs and now, with a few more and the exercises I have about 800. But now the game has started crashing. I start playing normally and after a while, some album covers start disappearing from the list, themn I know that after playing about one or two songs the game will freeze when loading a new song (the usual "empty room" crash). I rebooted, eliminated all duplicates, cleaned possible corrupt files with Steam and applied the Mac patch again, but the game keeps freezing after a few songs. Can a corrupt CDLC cause this? Do I have too many songs on the dlc folder? I'll appreciate any help.

Hi! First, let me start by saying I've searched for this in Google, Reddit and this forum, but I couldn't find a clear answer. I'm on Mac and I'd like to contribute with some cdlcs to the community. But I can't seem to find a tutorial for Mac users. I found, however, a comment in this forum from 2015 stating that it was impossible then to create customs on Mac Quote: [However, unless you have a PC to use instead of your Mac, I wouldn't invest too much time trying to create customs. Unless somebody has figured out how to fix the problems it's not really possible to create customs on Mac.] Is it still impossible to create CDLCS in Mac?

Hi there, I recently uploaded a new CDLC and everything went as usual. Later I discovered that the CDLC doesn't show up in my uploaded CDLC's (Ignition, Creators, Uploaded CDLC). Also I can't seem to find the upload via the search function of Ignition and also I can't open the record page (http://customsforge.com/index.php/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/50-iron-maiden-riffs-r44904) -> "Sorry, we couldn't find that!". I didn't have this strange error before and tried to contact the admins zanzibarnights and firekorn and didn't get an answer. Strangely I just discovered that the conversation to both of them got deleted? :blink: Did anybody have this issue before? How can I get rid of it? Is anything wrong with my CDLC? Thanks in advance! Hey guys I need your help. I Upload songs and it shows up and i click it to start but the "tab" and fret board thing doesn't show up. I see the speaks and I can play freestyle but no song or fret board. I bought the game through G2A.com and it's the full remastered game with the free "hey ya" ect. DLC . I also bought cherub rock by the smashin pumpkins but still no luck :( Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking/reading!
