First off, love this site and it's contributors! If I knew more about music and creating these myself, which I may have to learn how, I will contribute. I have downloaded and bought many different songs from steam and this site. Most of them work, some however never show up. Wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with that, These songs are definitely ones I want to play, and they are in the right spot. Just don't want to show up in the game. Also, I'm on a PC and yes, I did make sure it was the format for the right machine. Thanks all.

I'm currently working on a new CDLC with a special tone in it but I'm bad as hell in tone creating :D Does anyone have the time and could create a tone for me matching to the beginning riff in this one? http://listenonrepeat.com/watch/?v=wESn4Ppr4G8&s=0&e=11#Parkway_Drive_-_Dream_Run_%5BLyrics%5D_%5BHD%5D It's on repeat for the part with the tone. Hey there, I've bought rocksmith 2014 about 3 months ago and found this site some time after that. I looked up some songs (on search.customsforge.com) I liked and took them over to rocksmith. Now around 2 months later I've played them all and today was looking if i could find some more since I was really pleased with it. But when going to search.customsforge.com and looking through this site/forum I repeatedly got asked to login (while logged on already) and couldn't find the place where I could obtain CDLC's nowadays (Like Back in Black etc) so I figured I'd make a post about it in the hope anyone could inform me of what has changed or where to look since I would really like to add some new songs to rocksmith

Hey guys I'm Matthew (Masheen) I finally with the help of a few guys Alex and Replicators got to where I can successfully put out CDLC's. I'm very experienced with writing music both guitar tabs and sheet music. So If any of you guys have any songs that may need editing, assuming I have access to the tabs, I should be able to get it accurate. So far I have made a few songs and here's the list. I thought I would start off with some death metal as there isn't alot but i'm open to anything. I will add to this list as I create more and more. Can't find an answer to this, thought I am sure it's here somewhere. What's the situation with cdlc and tones. If a cdlc is downloaded will it sometimes have a custom tone with it, do I need to get custom tones somewhere separately, do cdlc use a tone from the game that is as close as possible, do I just need to select the closet tone that's already in rs2014 and if so are there suggestions for these or can I just not use custom tones with cdlc? Think I have exhausted all the possibilities I can think of above :) Cheers

Hello, I have created two packages. I wanted an audio track with and without lead guitar, so I found a backing track I wanted to use in the second package. I have generated all the files I need for Custom Song Creator and used 2 different *.wem files for each package. In the song creator I generate one package, replace wem file with the new one and change the song names and generate another package, so that the arrangements and other files are same in both packages. Now each package works fine when adding it into Rocksmith DLC folder separately but when having both in the DLC folder, only one package appears in the song list. Package A is listed only if package B is removed from the DLC folder, they are never there both. I thought that changing the DLC name or Song title in the song information will help but it does not work for it. hi guys. I'm making a new CDLC, but I have something trouble. the problem is about tone slots. When I use CDLC Toolkit, I can use tone selector only 4 I should make 4 tones(a,b,c,d) and should arrange these tones like (a b c b c b d c). Can I make like this?

I made a chart and everything worked except for the riff repeater. I found out it was because I converted the audio without setting the "seek table granularity" to 16384 from this topic: http://customsforge.com/topic/27445-issue-with-cdlc-riff-repeater/ However, after doing that my song suddenly starts freezing after getting past the tuner. I have tried changing the conversion settings to what I had before, and now even that doesn't work anymore. Anyone know what this could be?

Hey, First, just want to say this site, in combination with Rocksmith itself, has been a wonderful thing for me. I had wanted to learn to play the bass since high school, and now 20 or so years later I'm actually learning. It's been the perfect way to unwind after 9 hours of looking at spreadsheets at work! The main point of this thread is I'm looking for recommendations for "slow" songs, preferably ones that have bass tracks. Ones currently in my collection that fit the bill include Patsy Cline's Crazy, George Michael's Kissing a Fool, and Nora Jones' Don't Know Why. Things like NIN's Hurt also works, as does Chris Isaak's Wicked Game. Apologies in advance if there's a thread for this already. I searched and couldn't find one. Thanks, NotStanley

Hi there, I am starting a Running Wild Workshop because I am a huge fan and because Rock 'n' Rolfs masterpieces are vastly underrepresented around here ;) I will begin with easier songs since I am trying to play these songs myself and I haven't played for a while (some 20 years or so :P ). As I was trying to get back into playing I ran across Rocksmith 2014 and all the possibilities it does offer. So here I am now trying to bring you guys some awesome Pirate Metal from Hamburg, Germany B) Any suggestions, help as well as critique and even critcism are greatly appreciated since I am relatively new to this and willing to learn as much as I can. Every time I press the generate button on the toolkit it shows an error saying a bunch of stuff like my X360 file cant be loaded and a bunch of other stuff, but I unchecked the Xbox 360 box so why is it saying that?

Hey all, the CDLC I have downloaded aren't working for some reason, I'm able to go through and select the song then tune my guitar to it but after that i am stuck in a screen with the amps only and the purple lighting. My friend showed me how to get it all set up since he has it on his computer and it all works perfectly on his, but songs that he can play on his i can't play on mine. It's dissappointing me greatly since they were the reason i got the game so i can play songs that I enjoyed listening to but my game is only wanting to play the dlc that i bought and then the base songs it comes with someone please help me.

Hi Guys So i have a really frustrating problem i made a CDLC And when i put it in Rocksmith i hear the song so after i tune my bass the game freezes before guitar neck comes up so i made a new p.psarc file and I'ts the same , so i made it again from nothing i named it differently i added a preview audio etc and when i start it it freezes again i don't know what is happening cause all other DLC And CDLC's are working fine :( Some Help and tips would be appreciated Thx For reading

I've made a few custom dlc so far but all have had the same issue. Riff Repeater does not work, I have split the songs into sections as described by this tutorial: http://customsforge.com/topic/10520-creating-cdlc-tutorial-making-sections/ but when I go into the riff repeater and select one of those sections, nothing happens. The song does not play and the notes do not show up. Any ideas? Edit: I just want to say that the songs are fully functional when not using riff repeater.

I have been up for about 6 and a half hours now, watching countless videos on how to make my own custom dlc. It has been nothing but a huge waste of time. But, can someone instruct me on how to use EoF, Wwise, and RSTK? If not,can someone just do me a favor, and make me this one song, and all I ever ask of you.

hello everyone! I am trying to get cdlc songs for rocksmith on my xbox 360 and wondering if any one has managed to successfully do this. im not sure how to get the cdlc onto my usb drive so rocksmith will load it. any able to help me out with getting this to work?
