I just got heavy gauge strings for my bass recently and I've been working out the strings a bit so I could play Drop B CDLC. As soon as I get to the tuner, that's when I have a problem. As soon as the tuner on the B string hits +20, then it goes all the way back to +999 like it wouldn't register any more than that. Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix this? Thanks.

There are a lot of tremolo part in the song and eof doesn't import them.I mean the parts are imported,but the notes are signd just sustains and not tremolos.Any help?

Hello there. Today I decided to finish my guitar experience forever and ever. It's a bad message for users who expected more CDLCs of Horytnica and many other bands. I believe someone will finish the job alongside game popularity growth. I will also sell my Cort KX5 to someone else who actually plans a career. I still doubt if to sell it or keep in closet for the case I changed my mind. I have been finishing my guitar adventure for 9 months and sometimes I play Rocksmith but no gain. Even a regression! I couldn't play any chord cleanly, guitar pick was slipping out of my fingers and changing angle, solos almost muted, strings and frets confused commonly. I couldn't even play songs that I performed decently last year. My fingers look like rubble despite guitar abstinence. I had no issues before. There are also some counter-indications. I don't wanna screw up my wrist and cause other health problems by practicing all over time. The other issue is that my time is limited and my roommates would kill me for doing it every evening. Guitar is a low-level instrument (you manipulate strings directly) and needs lots of time-consuming efforts. Guitar was only an experiment for me. Only few classes on university before bachelor's defence so it's time for writing thesis and... learning guitar basics! Yeah! Moreover, I started to work before Christmas. I couldn't predict it before. Now I have full time job, other projects and master's thesis left. You can think I have a lot of free time. It's an illusion. This is why I must optimize it starting of 2016. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away I was playing piano so I'm not a beginner in music. Why guitar? In high school I started to listen to rock and metal music. On student carnival we met in number of 3 guys to discuss about our interests. No1 makes techno and knows FL Studio, No2 wants to play drums and we decided to do something together. After holidays everyone forgot this meeting. Next year I discovered patriotic rock/metal bands. It's better than nihilism put into most modern songs. It became obvious I need guitar. I also thought "ladies love guitar players" but later "ladies hate bad guitar players". What next? I consider continuing my piano experience but no idea what to start of and how to in case of progressive music or symphonic metal. To sum up, playing Rocksmith was fun but I don't see future in playing guitar for now. I don't say bye because I'm not removing account. I will still discuss with you about guitar, RS, music and other topics. That's my confession. If you also doubt or threw your guitar away, tell your story

Greetin's, everyone. I've recently started working on my first chart in EOF (latest version/patch). Most of it seems straight forward, but as I've been working on the song, I've encountered several things I've had questions on. If anyone could provide answers, I'd appreciate them a bunch! For hammer-ons, should I use the >Note>HOPO>Toggle hammer on, or should I instead use Note>Pro Guitar>Toggle tapping? When a chord is required to slide (in this case a power chord), I've noticed that after going to Pro Guitar > Slide > Toggle Slide Down, and then Guitar > Slide > Set End Fret, you're only given one fret to slide to for the whole chord. What should be done here? Is there one string I should use over the other, and it will automatically slide that distance for the other string? Or perhaps there is another option elsewhere I should use? And finally, for palm muting, is it alright to use the Note > Pro Guitar > Palm Mute toggle for Rocksmith, or is there an alternative I should be using? Thanks in advance!

Wich band inspired you to play guitar or bass or other instrument? To me,mostly it was Green Day when i was about 12-13 years old.I listend Jesus of Suburbia so many times,and then i thought how awsome could be to play guitar like them, and even make a rock band but it was just a dream to me,just to learn to play the guitar and didn't even know Rocksmith.So yeah,to me Green Day inspired me also Billy Talent with their cool songs like Viking Death March,Fallen Leaves,Saint Veronika etc,but wich band or even music inspired you to play?

Seriusly guys that's the 5th time,that my high e string broke.Is that normal?!?!?!Or i restringd it wrong and should i take it to the guitarstore to chek it out if there is any problem?This is fist eletric guitar ever and i don't want it to be bad.(Vision Stratocaster)

EOF Import the guitar track wrong(also weird)

I bought a pacage of Ernie Ball Strings a week ago and i want to restring my Cort CR 230 Guitar.But it's very dusty and need to be cleand.Should i Dust it first or resting it?

Hey guys, I've been playing guitar about 2 years now, I've been playing in a church band, jamming with friends, and really getting into music. Specifically, I have really fallen in love with blue, jazz, and all that kind of music. Something about putting emotion into my guitar has really helped me with my playing, and hell with my emotions. Enough of the pussy stuff now though I need some help. I've recently really gotten into Duane Allman and Derek Trucks style guitar playing. They're pretty crazy. The best way I've noticed that I learn guitar is simply playing along with songs on Rocksmith and learning the different ins and outs of my favorite players' techniques. Is there any CDLC of sorts that would help me with slide guitar. Currently I am using open E tuning, and as I am decent at improv on standard e tuning without a slide, I can't say I am too decent with open E and slide. Rocksmith has been my way of learning songs easily. Tabs and sheet music is hard for me, and playing by ear only gets me so far. It would help to have a song to base myself off of. Any recommendations?

I've made 2 Daft Punk CDLC and i need help from anyone who is interested. Instant crush : For this one, i've made a guitar and bass chart. I think the guitar is good, maybe some errors in the solo. But if some bassists can take a look at the chorus. I've made a guitar and bass chart. The guitar has a funky part in the beginning and two solos, i put some keyboards part because there are a lot of long parts without guitar. The song is 9 minutes long. The guitar is good i think but the bass has some flaws. So the bass is okay for the first three minutes, then i have some doubts from 3 to 6 minutes. Then it goes grazy for the last part, with a guitar pro that is far from perfect and 16 measures missing. I post it here because i'm not gonna work on it anymore. I don't have the capability to chart the bass. If anyone wants to take a look, correct some, adopt the project or just play it, it's ok for me. I can make all the EOF file available. I would have abandonned the project, but that's a 9 minutes song and the first half is good. Hi guys, I have an Ibanez Gio GRG250DX http://medias.audiofanzine.com/images/thumbs3/ibanez-grg250dx-528936.jpg And as you can see, it has a Satin/Matte Finish, and I have noticed that in the area were my arm rests when I play, it has become a bit "glossy", do any of you have had this happen to your guitars? if so, have you "fixed" or found a way to return the satin finish to it? I have read about people using 0000 steel wool, but I once received advice from a guitar technician to never use steel wool on a guitar...

Hello everyone I have decided to buy me a new guitar. As I fell in love with Dream Theater and John Petrucci's style I thought about a Music Man JP Signature guitar, but my current income doesn't allow me to go near that. The alternative would be the Sterling by Music Man (one of the signature models) JP60-PRB or the JP100-PRB. The reviews I found were all amazing, but I met a guy which makes a living out of playing guitar and he suggested that instead of getting an Indonesia made guitar I should get a custom made Godin with 24 frets which are made in Canada and I could get it for around 500 Eur. (The listing prices are higher but he said that he can help me with that). So what do you guys think? A signature model from Sterling or a custom hand made Godin? I could go with my budget close to 900 Eur. Thank you for all your thoughts Calin

Hi there, I'm a bass player that makes playthorugh videos, the thing is that I think that the way to promote your videos here is not good enough, the only way that your video can be viewed is if a user that creates CDLC, post your video as a playthrough in their pages, also you can't post any playthorugh of an official DLC here, so what is the best way to promote the videos?, do you agree with me? Please let me know
