  1. Hey, guys, I'm new here, and I wanted to make a few charts and when I try and run EOF.exe I get a few errors claiming I am missing the following DLL files along with some System Error messages. I simply dragged and dropped EOF unto a folder that I made on the desktop. Would this be a contributing factor to why it's not working? Would I have to drag and drop the folder with the EOF files unto my C: drive? Is there a way to obtain these DLL files and if so, where would I got about installing them? Missing DLL Files: alleg44 libsamplerate-0libvorbisfile-3libstdc++6 System Error Prompts: alleg44 libsamplerate-0 libvorbisfile-3 libstdc++6
  2. I'm trying to sync up my chart by dragging the beat marker to make the first note in the song the first note on the chart like I think you're supposed to, but it only lets me drag it when I drag the marker extremely quickly and far, or just doesn't let me drag it at all. This makes it near impossible for me to sync this way. So I found a temporary workaround with the offset button under track, but there's also a part later on where i'd like to move the notes forward a bit, which I can't do with Offset since it affects the whole chart. Anybody know how to make it so I can drag the beat markers smoothly? Thanks.
  3. I run EoF (yes I have latest and Hotfix) and it manages to open. I get the little editor box with a gray canvas and thats it. If I CTRL ALT DEL and go to task manager sometimes the gray canvas loads, and I can interact with mouse hover but as soon as I click it freezes again. Even the taskbar upon clicking crashes immediately.
  4. I can't seem to figure out why there is a issue. This name on the song is You Won't Be Missed and it's by a band named Like Moths to Flames. I don't think they use lower tuning's than Drop A and Drop A# but for some reason I'm not sure if it's the Guitar Pro file itself, Editor on Fire or if it's just the Rocksmith Toolkit, but when I try to set the tuning for this song to Bb F Bb Eb G C (which is Drop Bb or A#) it doesn't seem to be accurate. I tried tuning my guitar to the same exact tuning on that song but the Like Moths to Flames songs are in a completely different category when I set the sort by Tuning. I am trying to fix this, I would really like some help, if you want pictures of the problems feel free to ask. Message me or reply to this if you would like to help me out. This has been an issue on other songs, But I specifically wanna fix the tuning on this song.
  5. I will try to make it understandible as I can.I know you(maybe) said how to solve these problems, but if those answers whould work,I don't write another topic again. 1) My problem(wich is a most common one) are the sustain lengths. I don't know, why are these alway appering, and I can't do anything with them. Like this one here:http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/20160413214034_1_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg The problem with these sustain are not in the length they should be(In Eof,they're fine, but in the game it's bad) This sustain is to short,(compared to the other picturewich is shown in EOF) http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/20160413213142_1_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg And this one is to long (this is not how it suppose to be) http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/Screenshot_2016-04-13_20.39.24_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/20160413155940_1_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg How can i PROPERLY set the lengths,to not geth this ugly results? (Moving the mouse whell is NOT WORKING,i tried it many times, and still not changed the lengths in the game) 2) These is start to be a new problem to me,the sections are not good. What I mean in 'not good',is that they don't fit to the beats in the game.I markd the into, verse, chorus, etc. parts in EOF,but in Rocksmith,eg:When the solo part suppose to start (in RR) it's starts earlier, and ends it earlier.(The solo part is beggining with the G#5 power chord part (Drop D tunning),but this chord suppose to be the last part for the interlude, and the earli end is,when the last Double stop slide is not in the solo part,it markd as the first part of the last chorus.I don't know if the is a common problem as well..How can i Cure this problem?? It anoys me as hell! 3) This is another anoying problem, slides and bends are not exportit to the XML.guitar files, how can I properly set this to be good and export as well?? (I tried the method, that GetTheLedOut wrote, but it had this result) http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/Screenshot_2016-04-13_20.39.03_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/20160413213035_1_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg 4)How can I cure this very ugly looking arpeggio marks to not be this bad?? http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/20160413214422_1_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg How can I setup these frethand mutes to be the same, for some reason they both are different(one is markd as F5 power chord mute and the other is markd as the open E and A string mute.) http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/20160413160346_1_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160413/20160413160328_1_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg 6) How can I remove chord names(sorry,if this has ben descused before,my memory is not so good..Like a 2 bit golden fish lol) 7) How can I make Official DD to CDLCs?? Is there any guide to how do do it or video about it??? 8)How can I set the preview audio files,to have a fade out part in the end??? 9) And for last,is there any way to set the song to have no loading time in the beginning and in the end??? I'm just trying to make my Customs makeing to a new level :D Thanks, for the helps and tips so far,i don't know where whould i be without you :) If something is not clear, then please tell me about it! Thanks!
  6. I have a mem file that seems to play a part in how I am allowed to edit my CDLCs and it's been slowing me down A LOT. Anyone know a fix or way to keep the file from coming back?
  7. Greetings, I have been sitting all day working on a song, and I have now encountered a weird problem. Whenever the song reaches a certain point (03:53 to be exact) the audio is killed and about half a second later I return to the beggining of the song. When I press the skip forward button I return to the point where it put me back to the beggining again. Could this mean that the end or "finish line" is sooner than it should? If so, how can I change it?
  8. Hey everyone! I've been wanting to create a tutorial like this for some time, and I finally got around to it :) Hopefully some of you will find it helpful, and feel free to leave any questions or comments you may have: For further insights into using the spectrogram, you can refer to @@albatross213 's post here (sorry for the numeric dyslexia when I mentioned your name in the video). Also, would anyone like to see any other EoF- based tutorials? If so, which topics would be the most helpful to you? Let me know here
  9. I'm trying to make my first CDLC song for Rocksmith, but i'm stonewalled by EOF. It won't import my guitar pro tabs. The tabs are made on Guitar Pro 6, which is supported, isn't it? What's wrong?
  10. I added leading silence to my cdlc, and now Rocksmith starts the song immediately while the notes start after the offset. It works perfectly in eof. Is there a way to fix this?
  11. So in this song I'm doing "Stay Away" if you can see by the picture when I make it on the green string or any other string it let's me do the slide from 4 to 5 just fine, but in the orange it has these symbols under it that signifies the bend when I actually play it in game and even though I remove bends and clear everything from the note it still shows up when I scroll up to further lengthen the note to show the slide. This has never happened and I'm just curious as to why and if you know a way around it. http://tinypic.com/r/20ij8mh/8
  12. http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/150714/LYRIC_EXPORT_FAILED_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.pngI wanted to update my first cdlc (whic is Billy Talent-Sympathy).I did some fixes, tone changes and add vocals, but when i try to save my work i get this error Please help me! I realy want to update my works!
  13. I'm having lots of trouble getting tone changes to work, I've put the names in the eof, then assigned them to the gui, and i still can't get them to switch in game. Would someone please help. :c
  14. I have just starting creating CDLCs for Rocksmith and I'm having a blast. Most of you are light-years ahead of me in terms of EOF knowledge, but I thought I would share this anyway in case it helps someone else out there who is starting out. Please chime in with any corrections or additions to my thoughts below. Over the past year, I have found the Riff Repeater to be critical to my use and enjoyment of Rocksmith. So, in creating CDLCs, I want to make sure that RR works in each of the songs. (I know that many of you also utilize the Dynamic Difficulty option, but I have not found it to be very useful myself and I find the procedure for coding CDLCs with quality DD to be difficult). Unfortunately, I have spent many hours over the past few weeks trying to get RR to work correctly in my songs. Many times, some sections of the song are inaccessible. I searched these forums and the internet for answers and thought I was following the right procedure, but I was having very inconsistent results. After doing quite a few experiments over the past few days I discovered my problem. It turns out that, in all cases where I was having a problem, a note at the start of the section was not snapped to the corresponding beat. I thought that they all were, but they were one or two thousands of a second ahead of the beat. It was hard to tell unless you looked very, very closely. I didn't discover this visually, but by examining the .XML file with a text editor as Chlipouni suggested in a post earlier this year. I have no idea how, through the editing process, the notes could end up being slightly off beat. From now on, I will always have the Menu/Song/Highlight Non Grid Snapped Notes option turned on in the menu. That is a very useful feature of EOF. If you find that you have this problem, the solution is easy - set your Grid Snap to 1/32, select all of the notes in the track (CTRL+A), and use the Note/Resnap command. Also, I confirmed that you cannot start a section in the middle of a sustained note, if there are no other tracks with a note on that beat. This is not a problem if you have a note on another track on the same beat. One more thing - starting on beats other than 1 was not an problem for me. I know that others have said to make sure and start a section on the first beat, but I have not found that to be an issue. Thanks to all of you for your help in these forums - this is an amazing community.
  15. I have two questions that have bugged me and I can't seem to find an answer for anywhere. First one, in Editor on Fire, say you have your song completely done. When you play it, you notice a slight out of sync on the whole song, when this happens do you really need to edit on EOF then go back to Wwise and then repackage the song again? Or simply saving it with the changes on EOF and then repackaging it will do the trick? Next question, I am familiar with how to make tones, how in the world do you get them out as an xml. file and how do you find them? I am having to do the technique where you get the amp or pedal and then you copy the numbers as is onto the toolkit, is this the only method?
  16. I want to take a song that I did not create and experiment with it (change the tone, change some notes, etc). When I unpack the song, the arr directory has the xml but not the .eof file. Is there any tutorial on how to import the xml into editor on fire to edit the song? Just curious.
  17. Hey guys, Been enjoying my stay here and enjoying all the great customs, however I've reached a point where I want to tackle my own. I have watched the tutorials by Squid and PC Plum, and read the tutorial on how to create cdlcs by Darjusz. I have EOF, the RStoolkit, and have been using tablature and guitar pro for years. So.. I started with some very basic songs, set EOF up exactly as told with most recent hotfix, imported song, double and triple checked BPM including the second method that Squid uses via. Songbpm.com I imported tabs ~ trying Modest Mouse's 'Dramamine' bass line and the Arcade Fire's 'Rebellion (Lies)' bass line for practice. I can not get the notes to sync with the music. I have used the bpm as said on the tab file. It all seems extremely out of sync. What am I doing wrong? Also, I registered for Wwise and it keeps saying it can't finish installing. ?? Any tips, experience with this, links, etc. would be helpful. I don't want to give up before I've even begun. :( ~lilstrats.
  18. I'm having an issue with tempo changes. For example in the song Tears Don't Fall by Bullet For My Valentine, the tempo for the solo is 190bpm while the rest of the song is 162bpm. If I include the tempo changes in the track in EOF, after importing it into rocksmith 2014 I encounter a problem where the song just hangs and won't start. Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong. The official DLC for Prayer of the Refugee by Rise Against includes tempo shifts so I would assume the game supports them.
  19. I'm still a bit of a novice when it comes to EOF, and even though I've found where the option to insert slides is under Note - Pro Guitar, I can't figure out what to do from there. http://i.imgur.com/BvbQu5Q.jpg Here's my song. I want the bend to start at the middle pair of notes (The 10 and 7 that aren't sustains) and end at the following notes (11 and 8). How would I go about doing that, and manually edit the slide's path if neccessary?
