  1. Hey guys, So I've been working on my first CDLC and every chord has an error where the strings that aren't used are showing up within the chord in game and making everything look glitchy and not register note detection properly. Here's a screenshot of said issue: https://i.imgur.com/RUXOmPl.jpg I am running the most recent version of EOF with the Hotfix I came across a thread from last year that said it's related to open notes in chords and the final comment said to replace the chordshapes.xml, I tried redownloading the EOF hotfix and replacing my files again with that version but the problem still occurs. I had defined handshapes for 3 chords within the Guitar Pro file that I made, but one chord on the Lead arrangement only had the handshape added in EOF. Could that have anything to do with it? How do I solve this problem?
  2. I'm creating a new cdlc, but whenever I try it on Rocksmith I can see weird graphical artifacts around every chord (it looks like the colors of the notes get stretched vertically). I've already checked the chords details and everything seems fine. Any ideas?
  3. I know I had a similiar topic before, but I didn't discuised this type of problems earlier. Basicly what the problem is that 2 of the chords in my chart has "Sustain" enabled, but the highlited part under the chord is not as long as the chord itself. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2dAm5utc-Vca0ZQdF9DaGc4Zmc The other problem is that some of the chords are not highlited as the other ones and they have "HS" statue on them. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2dAm5utc-VcX2Q5eXdjOElXenM I can't realy do anything to solve any of these 2 :(
  4. I didn't realy cared or knew about this thing before, but in my recent custom I realised it and have no clue to how is this even working. Qustion: How can I set the range of chords or handshapes in EOF?? e.g:in the first picture the open D5 chord appers in 4 frets and in the second it appers in 5 or 6 frets https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2dAm5utc-VcOGRDUnZwcE9NZlE https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2dAm5utc-VcNDNieVhhMElqM2M
  5. Hi guys, I am not thinking the following is an EoF issue so I figured I would post here. During final testing of my newest CDLC (Blaze Bayley - Stare at the Sun) I am noticing something I haven't noticed before. Those finger prints in the game that show what handshape is needed to play a chord behave a bit differently based on a logic I don't yet understand. If you look at the GIF snippet below of my custom you'll notice a series of chords intermitted with palm mutes. Notice how the finger prints tend to either show up in game in 1 of 3 ways. 1. Number with a double outline around it. 2. Number with a single outline around it. 3. Number with no outline around it. Does anyone know why the game does this and upon which logic or criteria it decides how many outlines a fingerprint must have? http://i920.photobucket.com/albums/ad41/Berneer/CustomsForgeStuff/Questions%20for%20CF/Handshape%20varying%20outline/Handshape%20fingerprint%20outlines%20vary_zpso9hakqzl.gif Here is what it looks like in EoF with representation below that shows what happens in game to better allow recognition of a pattern, which I don't see yet. http://i920.photobucket.com/albums/ad41/Berneer/CustomsForgeStuff/Questions%20for%20CF/Handshape%20varying%20outline/Stare%20at%20the%20Sun%20verse%20hanshape%20outline%20variance%20questionJPG_zpsel9nc4cm.jpg~original And at the end of this post is the pertinent XML code which doesn't seem to dictate number of fingerprint outlines since regardless number of outlines, the code seems to have the same nomenclature for each chord. Anyone see a pattern? Or can anyone provide an explanation? I just checked an official song, REM - Losing My Religion, and within the first 30 seconds of that song I see all three types of outlines discussed above. It must mean something. Can any tell me what each outline type signifies..... looks like it is more a game rendering phenomena than and XML related one. Link to pertinent XML
  6. The slide in EoF http://i.imgur.com/MA0jkwE.png The slide in game http://i.imgur.com/jj910Nv.png The slide is working perfectly in game however it won't be displayed. The same thing occurs with chord bends. The bend is there but it isn't displayed (nor the sustain). Is there a solution for this?
  7. I can't get them to work. They look horrible in game, as they are represented by a whole-chord hammer-on and not by a single-note-during-a-chord hammer-on. This is what I want: e ---------------- B -6-----6------- G -7h8--8------ D -8-----8------- A ---------------- E -------------- This is how it is displayed in-game: e ----------------- B -6h6---6--- G -7h8---8--- D -8h8---8-- A ---------------- E -------------- Is there any way to do it?
  8. How do the official DLCs make this chord frame? It doesn't seem to be an actual "arpeggio" that you'd make by using Control + Shift + G. As you can see, it doesn't have the same purple outline as arpeggios added by the aforementioned shortcut (as shown through the second picture). http://oi57.tinypic.com/2i90ya.jpg http://oi61.tinypic.com/2vl7kon.jpgAny help would be greatly appreciated :)
  9. I am having an odd issue with a song which has a lot of chord strumming. The first chord fingerings, chord name and notes are shown and then every chord the same after that is ghosted. I don't know if "ghosted" is the right term, basically where the same chord is repeated and so Rocksmith only shows the first chord and then has transparent rectangles to indicate repeated strums. The problem I have is that the ghost strums continue for the rest of the song! How does one control whether a ghost chord or the actual notes and fingerings are displayed? The song is already in sections but that doesn't seem to have any impact. This is an old EOF file that I am updating, I am wondering if something broke somewhere or that is introduced behavior with either EOF or the Rocksmith toolkit. THANKS!
  10. Hello. When I tried to save my work in EOF, it told me it couldn't export a chord because it couldn't be matched with the chord template. Because of this, it aborted its RS2 export. Help pls?
