  1. Problem has only developed as I'd added a bunch of new CDLC only 3 days ago without issue. Launch CFSM after adding new CDLC to the folder and it hangs while parsing the new track, cancelling hangs also. Doesn't seem to be a particular CDLC as I've tested with different numbers and combinations of new tracks as well as by themselves. Did another test where I removed one of the songs I added 3 days ago(and had played and confirmed working) and launched CFSM without issue and then added that song back and am now having the same issue as above with that working track. Note that just removing the new songs from the folder leads to CFSM loading properly, error behaviour only seems to occur when trying to add tracks to the folder for some reason. Hoping someone can help before I resort to reinstalling. Last 3 error logs- Log 1: Brand new song added to dlc folder, left parsing/hanging for 12mins to see if it would do anything to no avail. Similar behaviour regardless of the individual track(s), amount or combination of. Closed program. 2. Hi Guys, hope you're all fine. I got a weird problem with CFSM as it doesn't detect new CDLC added in my CDLC folder (which was working fine just 2 weeks ago for my last CDLC adding). I put the CDLC in the folder but CFSM scan see nothing new. I try rescan, reinstall but it always fail to see the new songs. Does this ring a bell to anyone here ? Br.
  3. i launch cfsm in admin it sends me to the setting then comes up wiht an error this is what it tells me [2021/04/28 01:20:10]: ==== This is the start of a new CFSM run log ===== [2021/04/28 01:20:10]: Found Custom RS2014 Installation Directory ...   4. Hi ! I've an issue with CFSM w.5.8.1. Indeed, it works for Songmanager but when i going to arrangement analyzer and duplicate, it says : [2020/08/06 18:56:01]: Saved File: dgvSongsMaster.xml[2020/08/06 18:56:01]: Song Manager GUI Deactivated ...[2020/08/06 18:56:01]: Populating Renamer GUI ...[2020/08/06 18:56:01]: Loaded renamer_properties.json template ...[2020/08/06 18:56:06]: Populating SetlistManager GUI ...[2020/08/06 18:56:06]: Loaded File: appSettings.xml[2020/08/06 18:56:06]: Saved File: dgvSetlistMaster.xml[2020/08/06 18:56:06]: <ERROR> Application.ThreadExceptionSource: CustomsForgeSongManagerTarget: System.String get_ArtistTitleAlbum()System.NullReferenceException: La référence d'objet n'est pas définie à une instance d'un objet. à CustomsForgeSongManager.DataObjects.SongData.get_ArtistTitleAlbum() à CustomsForgeSongManager.UControls.SetlistManager.<>c__DisplayClass13.<LoadSetlistSongs>b__f(SongData sng) à System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereEnumerableIterator`1.MoveNext() à System.Collections.Generic.List`1..ctor(IEnumerable`1 collection) à System.Linq.Enumerable.ToList[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source) à CustomsForgeSongManager.UControls.SetlistManager.LoadSetlistSongs(String setlistName, String search) à CustomsForgeSongManager.UControls.SetlistManager.LoadSetLists() à CustomsForgeSongManager.UControls.SetlistManager.PopulateSetlistManager() à CustomsForgeSongManager.UControls.SetlistManager..ctor() à CustomsForgeSongManager.DataObjects.Globals.get_SetlistManager() à CustomsForgeSongManager.Forms.frmMain.tcMain_SelectedIndexChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) à System.Windows.Forms.TabControl.OnSelectedIndexChanged(EventArgs e) à System.Windows.Forms.TabControl.WmSelChange() à System.Windows.Forms.TabControl.WndProc(Message& m) à System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) à System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) à System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam). I've test the version of my p.psarc dlc which come from Custom forge but .. yeah nothing ... If you can help me i'll be happy :). Alexis.
  5. Hi, I've just got a new Windows 10 laptop and have tried migrating my Rocksmith files from my old Windows 7 laptop. Initially I copied the DLC file and CFSM files that live under the Rocksmith 2014 folder. Doing this, I could see all songs - CustomsForge official songs plus CDLC. The official songs seem to all work fine, however when I 'play' CDLC, I get past the tuning stage, but the screen then doesn't produce the song - I'm just in the setting with the amps and can play the guitar (so the game isn't frozen) but nothing happens with the song. I thought that maybe I needed to download CFSM again, so downloaded the rar file, got that opened etc... - but unfortunately that hasn't fixed the issue Any ideas on what likely simple step I'm missing? Thanks in advance!
  6. HI guys: Recently I realized that in CFSM folder (Mac) there's a subfolder called "original" full of what appear to be copies of cdlcs (I'm not really an expert). The problem is that there are 6GB worth of files there, and I need space in my computer. Can I just delete them? What are they for anyway? Thanks for your help
  7. I am able to enable/disable songs from both base packages (RS 2014 and RS1) and also RS 2014 ODLC without trouble. When I try to disable one or more RS1 ODLC in CFSM the log shows an error line related to the rs1combatibilitydlc.psarc file, this file becomes quarantined, and none of the RS1 DLC appear in the RS2014.game. I don't know if this is related or not, but any RS1 ODLC removed by using the manager on the steam web site is removed from the RS1 game but not from RS 2014.,
  8. Hi everyone, I wanted to know if someone has the same problem as me. I have Rocksmith 2014 original on steam, with Cherub Rock DLC and the last dll (as the guide indicate). To avoid any problem, I always run everything as an administrator (steam, rocksmith, CFSM). However, many songs do not appear within the game. For starters, none of the RS1 songs works (they don't appear in game). Some songs, like "Creep - Radioheadsong" (song pack 9) appear with a small padlock, and when I click on them, they send me to the store (although I have the psarc file in the dlc folder). To solve these inconsistencies I decided to download CFSM and activate the options such as "include RS1 compatibility pack", "validate DLL" and all. It didn't help, in fact I could see more inconsistencies like this:- Rocksmith song count: 1437- Raw songs count: 1179 - In game songs (filtered by "all"): 1183 The thing is..I´ve a lot of songs to play, but some songs that I like a lot can´t be played. There´s something that I could do to fix this? I tried to download some of them as CDLC, but songs like Space Oddity - Bowie are ODLC, so the only way I can play it is by the game itself. I´ve the psarc file for PC (not Mac, no PS3 or XBOX) why rocksmith didn´t recognize it? Thanks for the help in advance, I really don't know what to do anymore and I'm dealing with this problem since I bought rocksmith in 2017.
  9. I've had to reinstall CFSM multiple times now. After a few times of launching it, rather than launch the manager, it launches the Setup instead and asks if I want to perform a clean install. Why does it keep doing this?
  10. Rocksmith Tools Launcher is compatible with macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and below ... STOP - DO NOT UPGRADE to macOS 10.15 (Catalina), yet - looking for compatibility testers ... There's a new application for Mac users named Rocksmith Tools Launcher. The application includes and launches the Mac Wineskin ported versions of: CustomsForge Song Manager (CFSM) Custom Song Creator for Rocksmith (Rocksmith Toolkit), aka 'the toolkit' Custom Game Toolkit (CGT) You can download RocksmithTools.dmg here. Or Here. After the download completes, double click on the RocksmithTools.dmg to mount the image. (For Download Error Workaround ... LOOK HERE) The mounted image will look something like this: Drag and drop the Rocksmith Tools Launcher icon onto the Applications shortcut icon to install the application. Easter Egg: Drag the horizontal slider to the right to view the ReadMe.txt file. Eject the RocksmithTools image. Open the Lauchpad app, or Applications folder and double click the Rocksmith Tools Launcher icon to start the application. WAIT PATIENTLY for the application to start up (maybe a couple of minutes the first run so get some coffee). Note: Rocksmith Tools Launcher for Mac is a replacement application for the individual Mac Wineskin ports of these tools. The new app takes less disk space than the combined individual tools did. Thanks goes to I)ark_Seph for his past Mac support of the individual tools. How to use CDLC on Rocksmith 2014 Remastered Mac Version (click me) Be sure to read and understand Steps 7 and 8.
  11. OK, I could just be an idiot, but I cannot get this to work on my Windows 10 pc. I get it downloaded and installed, but I can't figure out to do what's next. It's something about accessing the dlc, but I have no idea how to make that work. Thanks for any help!
  12. i not sure how I missed when this came out, but wanted to give a shout out to the Cf song manager in case there are others like me... Simple download for free in the tools section above.... Fixes the 100% glitch that happens to lots of songs you download. i have 1600 songs in my collection... 900 of them had this glitch. You can sellect all songs in your collection and it will fix only the ones that need fixing and skip the rest. Took about 3 hours for my 1600 songs to be fixed. so now it will give you the acurrate percent played instead of just rolling to 100%.... It also can add DD to songs... I’m getting pretty good and don’t use DD anymore, but by adding it, you can have all your songs sort by “played last.” I really like this because it lets me keep track of songs that I was working on that Im not ready to tag as one of my favorites just yet... It does lots of other stuff too, but these were the two biggies for me!
  13. Good afternoon all, I have been off for almost 2 years. i am downloading all the programs to make my own CDLCs as all programs have been updated since I last work with them all... Having said that, there is a new program available (CFSM) that wasn't in existence before (or has it replaced the toolkit?) Is this program necessary to create CDLCs? Any help would be appreciated. I have read the FAQs and couldn't find anything on the usage of CFSM. Thanks.
  14. Hi, I am so pleased with the CFSM tool and it's updates than now fix tones issues that last year the CFSM classified as corrupt and no longer do! Near the end of Remastering my 3000+ CDLC suddenly CFSM (latest beta version) died on my PC. It seems to kill the batch remastering process when it encountered dreddfoxx's Alice Cooper - Halo of flies . I reboot my PC to clear up any issues but once I reboot it still gives me the following debug info: [2018-01-24 08:56:26]: + <WARNING> 'D3DX9_42.dll' file validation is disabled ... My antivirus and firewall is off I used the default installation directory for RS Any advice? Edit: Oh yes, somewhere along the way I got this dialog box. I just got it again trying to install Toolkit and CFSM on another Windows 10 PC, Core i5. Appreciate any help! Edit 2: Darn, same dialog box as in Edit 1, when I try to install on my laptop (ASUS UX303UB), also with Windows 10, Core i7 6500U, 2.5GHz, 12GB of RAM. An old version of CFSM did run properly though. Didn't pay attention to which version as it uninstalled but it was from after May 2017 when I purchased the laptop. I think the latest beta CFSM is solid because it remastered over 2500 CDLC with no unexpected behaviour. I'm stuck. Edit 3: The Latest "Release" 1.4.1.4 seems to work (just tried my laptop), as it parsed through all my /dlc contents (containing just ODLC).
  15. Hi, I'm new here and stoked to find this website! Followed wepeel's tutorial and things are working a treat. Would love to find more info on fixing some cDLC tracks on my Mac: OS Sierra 10.12.6 Customs Forge Song Manager (v1.4.1.2 - MAC BETA VERSION) Rocksmith Custom Song Toolkit (v2.8.4.1) I've converted a number of PC files to MAC and they have worked fine. A few tracks are not appearing in RS14 however and the only post I could find is for PC only. Any Mac people out there with info on how to best use the above apps to repair m.psarc files? Thanks in advance!
  16. Recently I decided to try to repair my CDLC that had the 100% bug, from 93 songs 14 seem to fail the repair. 5 are corrupt and 9 are maxfive is there a way to fix these CDLCs?

  18. OS: Win7 Ultimate, 64-bit CPU: AMD FX-6100 AV: Microsoft Security Essentials .NET Framework version: 4.6.1 I'm running the 1.2.7.9 beta that I just downloaded a little over an hour ago. The first thing I did was run the bulk repair with these settings: Skip Previously Repaired CDLC: Yes (but again, first time running it) Add DD (if not already present): Yes Repair 100% Mastery Bug: Yes Preserve existing song stats: Yes Run Repair using (.org) files: No Ignore Multitone Exceptions: No Repair Maximum Playable Arrangements: No Of the 271 files processed, 224 were skipped because they were ODLC (I verified this by checking the "Repair Status" contents afterward). So that leaves us with 47 CDLC; 39 of those repaired without errors and I assume they're good to go. The remaining eight failed for four different reasons which I've included below; I left off the song names 'cause I don't know whether that's kosher or not, but if a mod can confirm that it's OK I can provide them if it'll help. The first failure reason (which accounts for five of the eight failures) is: Repair failed ... Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CustomsForgeSongManager\RocksmithToolkitLib.TuningDefinition.xml' is denied. I'm a bit confused by this, as I just installed the application (over the previous release, if that matters) and then ran it from the prompt at the end of the installer. Presumably it's running as the same user that installed the files, so I can't imagine why it wouldn't be able to read that file. I checked the security settings for the file and its containing directory and everything looks good. The other three failures (one CDLC each) are: Repair failed ... ww2ogg process error. Audiokinetic Wwise RIFF/RIFX Vorbis to Ogg Vorbis converter 0.19 by hcs Input C:\Users\Winston Smith\AppData\Local\Temp\song_name_goes_here_p_Pc\audio\windows\888109081.wem Parse error: unknown chunk type This looks like it might be a showstopper; it's too bad because I really wanted to learn that one and it's too hard for me to use the original version of the CDLC that doesn't have DD, but...it is what it is. Repair failed ... There is tone name error in XML Arrangement Bass bassir is not properly defined.Use EOF to re-author custom tones or Notepad to attempt manual repair.I'm not afraid of a little recreational text editing; is this something I can fix myself with minimal handholding? Repair failed ... Maximum playable arrangement limit exceeded This last one I actually sort of understand from previous things I've read on the forums. What I'm curious about here is whether there's a "recommended" or "safest" way to resolve this, or do I just need to pick which instruments I can live without and delete them? Was this something to do with a weird way of doing Dynamic Difficulty? I'm fuzzy on the details and I can't find the original post where I read about this before.
  19. I'm running the CustomsForge Song Manager to fix the Mastery bug, and I'm running into some issues. One is that it's taking up a lot of disk space. It tells us to back up our songs, which I did, but then it makes copies of every file anyway. Plus, even with me deleting those copies as it goes along, and moving other files to a different hard drive, my hard drive is filling up. I'm in the middle of fixing my library, and I don't think I'll have room to finish. I'm getting songs don't have issues when I play them put into the corrupt folder. What problems might these songs have? What could I do to fix the corruption that CFSM is detecting? I'm also getting custom inlays moved into the corrupt folder. This isn't that big a problem to fix, because I can sort by file size, but it would be nice if the tool could tell that they aren't songs, and leave them be. Finally, what's the best way to re-repair some songs? While deleting songs to make room, I accidentally deleted a few songs that had already been run. I have copies of the un-fixed files, but the CFSM doesn't seem to want to fix them again. I've tried putting them into subfolders it hadn't got to yet, but it skipped them. I'm using Version 1.2.6.7, which is the latest Beta version.
  20. When I open an installed copy of CFSM Beta (1.2.6.4) the program displays to the monitor, but the CFSM installer activates and asks to install CFSM. I cancel and move on, and it doesn't seem to cause problems. The program is set up to run in "administrator" mode, and I am set up as an "Elevated" Administrator in Windows 7 Home Premium. I have only used it to build song sets from CDCL, DCL, RS1 DCL, and the songs that are embedded in RS2012, and RS2014.

  22. Hi CFSM developers, I am extremely pleased with your beautiful software which, in it's initial release, is already very impressive! Thank-you sooo much! You guys addressed everything I wanted! So I tested the CFSM 1.0.0.2 Song Manager, Duplicates and Renamer tabs Although they do everything I could possibly want and although I can happily live with no improvements made, I figured you'd like to hear some opportunities for refinement that you are free to ignore. I know not every cares like me about renaming so some points are more a wishlist than issues. Song Manager tab: Questions: - What is the "STATUS" column? - The four optional settings to display Ignition information have nothing outputted in those columns for any of the 2000 songs in my collection. Is this meant for later? What are these fields? High Priority: - I thought one of the main features of the song manager was to alert the user when a newer version of a CDLC he/she downloaded has been uploaded. Either my vigilance is perfect and my library is fully updated or I have failed to notice how to be alerted. I imagined that the Version number would turn red or something when a CDLC has been superseded. Medium Priority: - Wold be great if when selecting songs we could hold CTRL to multiple select or SHIFT to select a range of CDLC. Ex: Just downloaded 60 songs which I selected for renaming but had to select them 1 at a time in the "Select column" - Many CDLC in the "Author" column show either "N/A" or "Custom Song Creator". What is the difference between "N/A" and "Custom Song Creator"? Would be nice to find a way to show the real author. Perhaps this is based on Toolkit's feature of inserting author name into the CDLC? If so it's unfortunate there is no easier way to tell who the author is since it is a rather important field when managing one's library. - In the updated column some CDLC dates precede RS2014. ACDC-Back In Black by user N/A shows 7-14-2003 (?) Low Priority: -remember user's preferred column widths, based on previous usage - Just to avoid any confusion I'd show the version number of CDLC to 1 decimal place. If we see an integer we can't help but wonder if we have an old version. Duplicates tab: High Priority: - When I select a duplicate and click "delete selected" button it does one of 3 things: works like a charm repopulates the duplicates list with stuff I've already deleted or moved manually, which only corrects if I rescan crashes the program Medium Priority: - If the list of duplicates cannot all fit in one page, there is no way to scroll down or up the list. Must eliminate duplicates and rescan to get to the previously inaccessible duplicates. Low Priority: - When I select a song and click "Move selected" it simply reparses the entire /dlc folder and places the selected songs in a folder /dlc/duplicates (I had to look for where they went. Perhaps the software can show where they will move and perhaps the user would benefit being able to choose where to move the files) - The time stamps in the "Updated column" show dates that precede Rocksmith 2014. Something screwy there. Renamer tab: Questions: Should we refrain from renaming ODLC? High Priority: -When doing a batch rename of 60 songs I just downloaded, with the following template: \\NEW\\<artist>-<title>-<author>-v.<version>-RS2014PC-RR-<dd>-Lead,Rhythm,Bass,Vocals-Estd-ACESHIGH whatever songs had version set to N/A in the Song Manager tab was moved to a sub-directory of NEW. Ex: /dlc/NEWBruce Springsteen-Dancing in the dark-N. In it resides another subdirectory called "A-N". In it resides a psarc file called: A-RS2014PC-RR-_dd-Lead,Rhythm,Bass,Vocal-Estd-ACESHIGH_p.psarc Medium Priority: - Save renamer settings. Ex: \\NEW\\<artist>-<title>-<author>-v.<version>-RS2014PC-RR-<dd>-Lead,Rhythm,Bass,Vocals-Estd-ACESHIGH Would be nice if we didn't have to type the above every time we restart the program. - Would be nice to not have files being renamed to be located in the /dlc folder. Example, if we wish to keep that directory clean with only ODLC and have CDLC in subdirectories, then it would be useful to allow the user to enter the path of the files to be renamed, ex: /dlc/NEW Low Priority: - wondered a bit if when check-marking "Rename only the songs that are selected in Song Manager" if I had to click "Rename all" to get the process going. I got really panicky that click "Rename all" button would rename the thousands of other songs I had already renamed to my liking. I guess I would change the label in the button to "Rename" instead of "Rename All" - Would be nice if we could have other "Usable Properties" to append in the renaming template. Example: <Arrangements>, <tuning>, <AppID>, <ScrollSpeed>, <No tone>. Example, my naming convention for songs is as follows: Accept-BallsToTheWall-Chlipouni-v.2.2-RS2014PC-RR-DD-Lead,Rhythm,Bass,Vocals-Estd-ACESHIGH_p.psarc No comments on Setlists since I haven't ever really used setlists yet. Again, these are just things that I think would make this amazing software a tiny bit more sleek. But you've worked hard enough and it's time to relax. Feel free to ignore everything since it's nothing that a bit of manual touch-ups can't fix. Cheers! You guys rock!!
