Hey guys I need some help. I installed linux mint and my rocksmith stopped working. I use proton via steam but it does not help. Rocksmith chrashes and want me to send problem code to ubisoft. How can i play rocksmith on linux? I tried also to use Wine but Wine can't find .steam folder that is hidden; Help please

Does anyone know how songs show you the strumming pattern that you need to do, right now i learning "knocking on heavens door" and i was just strumming down down down down down, but apparently the right way was "down with a pause down down up". So my question really is, where does it show what strumming pattern do i need to do, does it even show it in game or is that something i need to look on my own? Thanks for your time.

So, I've followed the tutorials, and everything worked, up until I launched. the game still worked, but it did not show any of the installed cdlc. there are no error codes. anybody know how to fix this? if it helps, I'm running Rocksmith 2014 remastered, from a custom p-bass, through a new realtone cable, into windows 10, on steam

Hey Customforge Community, Im new here and was wondering if someone could answer my questions :) I got Rocksmith 2014 for my Playstation Super Slim (250 GB Version 4.55) a few weeks ago and I think its an awesome tool to learn guitar. Just the songs that are avaible are not that much what I want to play. (besides Slayer Iron Maiden, and System of a Down) Here my question towards downloadable custom songs here. 1. After downloading the PS3 version of the songs do I need to convert them or are they good to go ? 2. How do I bring the songs over to my PS 3 3. Would a PS3 Super Slim accept the custom songs (DLCs) ? Thanks for the help

Has anyone made a custom UI for rocksmith? i would love to have a dark simple UI design and a more user-friendly menu, i got a lot of bought dlcs and with cdlc's its a mess to look through, it would also be nice with a black background when playing a song insted of the flashing speakers in the background

Hey there everyone, :) I have picked up Rocksmith 2014 almost two years, and since day one it got me frustrated but i kept myself trying to push to play guitar but it never got along. The problem i see is with the song collection in Rocksmith 2014 it seems that it goes from simple powerchords songs to complex songs in no time. And im still a beginner and dont know how to play guitar. The motivation is there but not the knowlegde. I love to listen to Hard rock and Metal and just want to learn the songs that my favorite bands play. My question is, Is there any like list of songs that start out for beginners and gradully get more complex, like a learning guide ? I fonund a list on Justin Guitar.com, but i wanted to check out if anyone here can give me help. Or am I working the wrong way with Rocksmith 2014? Thank you all for the help already in advanced :(

Hello everyone. I'm sure you are all aware of not being able to play rocksmith after the new patch that came out recently... One particular error I've seen and what I'm getting myself is - Error Sound Initialization. I have been able to get it to work ONLY in exclusive mode... and here are my rocksmith.ini settings for you all. [Audio] EnableMicrophone=1 ExclusiveMode=1 LatencyBuffer=4 ForceDefaultPlaybackDevice= ForceWDM=0 ForceDirectXSink=0 DumpAudioLog=0 MaxOutputBufferSize=0 Win32UltraLowLatencyMode=1 [Renderer.Win32] ShowGamepadUI=0 ScreenWidth=0 ScreenHeight=0 Fullscreen=0 VisualQuality=1 RenderingWidth=0 RenderingHeight=0 EnablePostEffects=1 EnableShadows=1 EnableHighResScope=1 EnableDepthOfField=1 EnablePerPixelLighting=1 MsaaSamples=4 DisableBrowser=0 [Net] UseProxy=1 and this is also with all my Recording Devices disabled apart from the Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter. - This is most likely going to work for all of you who don't mind not talking or watching youtube etc in the background of the game but for me (Who would like to stream the game) is an issue... I am yet to figure out a fix to being able to run the game in non-exclusive mode whilst being able to stream etc too... I've also reinstalled the game and it hasn't changed anything... If anyone knows a fix so I can start streaming that would be helpful but it really is annoying :/ -
Hi guys, I'm back into my annual summer Rocksmith binge, having got my hands on an alienware laptop instead of my mac. I hadn't realised how easy CDLC installation on PC was compared to mac... anyway, I was getting frustrated with the tuner taking ages and complaining about low volume on my bass (D especially), and so I hooked up an overdrive pedal and incrementally upped the volume until Rocksmith seemed to work better. As you might imagine it sounds much nicer and the boosted volume (drive settings at a minimum) has eradicated the tuner issues... however I'm aware that we're told that we're *NOT* supposed to do this and I'm thinking why. Do you think it's to preserve the integrity of the system for troubleshooting and optimal system experience, or could it knacker my new laptop. If I'm careful it'll be ok right? The USB interface will have a peak signal limiter right? What harm can be done right... right? Has anyone with better technical understanding than me (everyone) have any suggestions why I shouldn't do what I've done? Cheers,

Hello Everyone, so I've been playing Rocksmith 2014 on PC for over a year now and I absolutely love it due to this community and the openness of the program compared to when I played it on PS3. Anyways, I just switched headphones recently and I've noticed that there is a slight delay when I play a note and when I hear it on RS. Since these headphones don't do a great job at isolating outside sounds, it's very difficult to play fast passages cleanly. Does anyone know how I can fix this through audio settings? Or any tips? So i enterd rocksmith and it's said my save file are damaed and it cannot be loaded.How can i took my saves back?And every time i enter rocksmith it's says the same message.

So even trough my tone cable is sucks i updated my CDLC,but when i hit the generate button in RS Tool Kit , i get this nice little f*ucking error! Hey guys! I've been trying to do some custom tones for my next CDLC projects (since thats what the previous CDLC's i released were missing) and after i crated it i cannot find it in any of the folders for import into Rocksmith Toolkit. Any idea in what folder they are saved?

Hi everyone! I apologize if this question has been asked - I did do a search around here and Google but couldn't find it anywhere. I purchased Rocksmith 2014 for my Xbox 360 and later wanted to be able to play upstairs too (kids hog the TV) so got Rocksmith 2014 for the PC, which is where all my dlc lives. I'm registered on Steam, so Steam knows this - my question is: Is there any way to somehow link the two so I can access the content I've bought for PC on Xbox? I'm thinking it's unlikely because of different file formats, etc... but in case Steam or Rocksmith was smart enough to let me do this I thought I'd ask all of you experts. I don't want to purchase the same DLC twice, but am not sure if there can be any connection between the two? Thanks for any insight!! Hey Guys, I already have Rocksmith 2014 for PS3 (super slim) and got it for PC since I wanted to use custom dlcs. Installation went fine, and setting the sound up as well. Just when it came to the introduction it got bad. Beginning at the Calibration there is no video like usually to show how its done. After that the Tunner doesn't show up on the next page to adjust the strings which makes to proceed impossible, My questions are: Is this a common issues in the PC version of Rocksmith 2014? And How can I resolve the Issue ? My PC System is a: Windows 7 32-Bit. SP 1. Intel Core 2 Due E6750 2.66 GHz, 4GB Ram Thanks for the help already :)

I assigned automatically the fret hand positions in EOF by automatically generating them and made one phrase at the beginning (other sections/phrases didn't seem to work?) and even tried the DDC but that didn't help at all it just made one section.
